I lived in North Devon for a while just after the millennium, and found the people in that remarkably beautiful part of Britain to be deeply decent people, with some fascinating folklore and stories to share. I'd say the Cornish people in particular have more in common with the celtic culture than with the saxon culture, and the hope any Cornish folks reading this understand that. Rural, country folks with a heritage of smuggling, farming, and rugged country living, I feel more at home in Cornwall and Cumbria than anywhere else in England. The Mourne mountains are strikingly similar to Cornwall.

It’s surprising how many acres of woodland and scrubland is in that valley just on the edge of Truro. Lovely are for folk to walk. Hope David recovers soon! Nice walking video👍
