Dick Spanner’s two episodes aren’t lost or forgotten. I have both on vhs from channel 5 (yes the company, not the channel) Greatest things he ever did. Bless you Mr Anderson for creating two of my top ten candidates medics of all time. God, I loved the character atmosphere + universe of them. Still do. I’ve even got the weird beer adverts based on the character + the bar mats too.

I think my buddies and me would've really liked The Day After Tomorrow as a series. It feels like the same vibe as Jason of Star Command, Ark II and a slew of others we watched faithfully.

The image at 8:06 is definitely by Mike Noble (who drew Fireball XL5, Zero X and Captain Scarlet in TV21) and the following image could possibly be by Frank Langford. I'm guessing these were used as pre-production artwork (although possibly ideas for a comic strip tie-in??) but does anyone know if there were any more such images produced for the series and why they were produced?

I think 'The Protector' would have benefited from being completely live action and the John and Julie characters normal size. That would work I think.
