For years, I have I have noticed the idea the idea of karma and the idea of "judge not lest ye be judged" have quite a parallel. There is a certain balance that the universe maintains and so if you do bad, the universe will return with its own justice on the unjust. The very fundamental of Christianity is about redemption of our Sin through Christ death.. Buddhist is about finding .. sound logic but miss out the key principle of Christ that came to redeem (Buddhist is a study and find way to heaven - enlightenment is their key but miss out Christ divinity nature of saving soul) not good deed can supercede any sin. Why would Jesus go to India to learn buddhism? Was it not that at 12 years old in the human age, he was already an authority of the Scriptures, the fact that the Jewish religious authorities were very much surprised. What was then and there to learn in India? When after all Jesus is the Son of God? In fact, Jesus was the power and wisdom of God. What is there in India to learn, when Jesus was already endowed by God with divine wisdom, that no man can match? His alleged lost years were not actually lost. It was summed up in the bible that he helped his foster father, Joseph, in his carpentry works. After 12 years old and 18 years thereafter, Jesus, was a carpenter by profession like Joseph.This is not surprising because Joseph, being a carpenter, raised his family in that profession. When Joseph died, Jesus, being the eldest, might had taken the burden of the family for a living in carpentry. Why would ask for lost years when that span of time was spent earning a living in carpentry? Would it not be ridiculous, if the gospel writers will write all of the carpentry works done by Jesus and Joseph, every day for 18 years, just to satisfy others of their curiosity? Of course, it is ridi culous. That is why this 18 years of Jesus was not lost but instead remain un recorded for obvious reason. However, this 18 years works of carpentry was summed up by the phrase, "Is he not the carpenter's son? So therefore, there is no need to speculate about this unrecorded or un reported life of Jesus for 18 years. The bible is clear. Just extend more of our imagination and understanding.
