Buddhism is a fake religion. If Jesus ever went to India, He probably wanted to study the satanic lies, not to get "enlightened".

Aye. This is the one GREAT secret "THEY" tried to muddy. 18 "Missing" Years. Returning w/ certain strange "FOREIGN" teachings? lol Gospel of THOMAS really drives it home. VERY Taoist, in many ways. But, yes, JC one of the 1st Ju-Bus, & HIGH watermark in the whole 900 year epoch of Greco-Buddhism. Precisely when MAHAYANA Buddhism was ascending. Then came MANI, the great religious SYNCRETIST. A synthesis of religions which included BUDDHISM. For a time, even St. Augustine was a Manichean. Until he converted to Catholicism, & actively waged a bloody WAR against his former brethren. Crazy times.

Yeah. It is because original Buddha (1900 BCE) was a Hindu. He followed Vedas (he did not deny Athma) , was a vegetarian and spoke Sanskrit. But Buddha (550 BCE) who spoke fake pali and ate beef was created by colonialists out of thin air. The whole Nirvana Buddhist cult right now is based on a fake Buddha created to pit Buddhism against hindu/vedic tradition. They also created King Ashoka out of thin air to show that he converted from "bad hinduism to good buddhism". Nice try.

I also did a little digging and found some many relevances. And I was astounded. 1. Budapest has some intriguing historical Buddha connection. 2. Also I heard Silk Road was in fact initiated by Buddhist travellers. 3. A Buddhist Era statue of a female deity was uncovered from the ruins of Pompeii. Viking even had a BUDDHA Statue. 4. Five out of 10 commandments are strikingly similar to Buddhist panchasil 5. Mosques and churches have exact same Buddhist DOMEs on the top of their building. 6. Buddha is always portrayed sitting on a LOTUS. I read somewhere that even bible verses says their God lives in a lotus flower. 7. Most important of all, some of Buddhist ancient stone edicts were in Aramaic and Greek letters and even Prakrit(predates Sanskrit) letters are same family origin. Bible apparently was written in same letters. 8. The reason why English words and Sanskrit words are similar is there was connection. The Hindu hijacked Sanskrit language is in fact Buddhist language. Hindu came much later. Words like horse, cow, father, mother, brother, dentist, botany, Abraham, donation have come from same source. 9. Greek are the one who in fact started building Buddha statue. 10. You’ll see Hercules guarding Buddha in many of his statues. 11. Buddhist/hindu word ‘DEV’ meaning ‘Diety’ originates from an ancient word DEUS which in Greek and Roman is Zeus and Jupiter. 12. Ancient swastika symbol was discovered from one of Buddha’s burials. 13. Alexander the Great, why do you think travelled so long and returned back from the area where The Buddhist school - Taxasila was (modern day Pakistan )? Where apparently even Yashua is speculated to have studied Buddhist philosophy.

I always felt when Jesus says [paraphrasing] "Only through me lies the Kingdom of God" he wasn’t trying to literally gatekeep the salvation of Christians, but trying to say "Be like me, listen to my teaching from me, and through me you will find the Kingdom of God for yourself." Also, the "Wages of sin is death" isn't a condemnation to Hell and Damnation, but more of a warning "Hey, if you keep doing bad stuff, its going to get you killed." Like if you look at what Jesus says through a practical lens rather than a mystical supernatural one, what he says kinda makes sense. But it's been distorted and misunderstood because of improper context.

They're not similar at all. Jesus taught about an individual soul, surrendering to the Laws of an External Eternal Diety. The Buddha taught about Suffering and the End to Suffering. "there is no self" Sure there is. In fact, there are 2. 1. Omnipresent, immortal and conscious self 2. Ego self (mind and body). False identification with thoughts and body in the wake state is due to ahamkara (which provides a constant sense of "I") and wrong assumption that body is the experiencer of 5 senses not the immortal self or athma. So, meditation techniques help to transcend both 5 senses and ahamkara to "realize" the immortal and omnipresent self - the impassive experiencer and not the doer. By the way, original Buddha (1900 BCE) was a Hindu. He followed Vedas (he did not deny Athma or the immortal self) , was a vegetarian and spoke Sanskrit. Jesus is the messenger of god (god as in higher energy being in the higher plane) while Buddhist Gautama also said in many of his past life, he was also a higher energy being thus explain why there are so many magical story involve in Gautama birth (he can speak while he walking the earth just as soon as he was borned, him telling after 7 steps: “Heaven above Heaven below, I alone am the world honored one”. Only in his past life he was a god(s) that he can confidently saying something like that. Perhapse Gautama and Jesus did know each other, Gautama reject the idea of following gods because to him, gods (higher energy being) still suffer the same samsara as human being but they have much higher life span than human. This make me think that perhaps the only true god in the bible is just the first god (again higher energy being), he who came first before the seed of life take place, then he (the first god) take the seed and begun to spread it out cross the world (think of farmers plant the seeds to grow rice/vegetable, the farmers are not the one who created those seeds but they only plant it, created by natural world/ earth just as how life sprung itself from nothing). This in my opinion isn't conflict to what buddha Gautama or Jesus Christ teaching, although it isn't fact(s) because I haven't reincarnated as god(s) yet so cant confirm it.

@kyquocthangle4501 well I wasn't talking about Gautama Buddha, gautama was sort of like the Abraham or Moses of Buddhism. There were beings that achieved buddhahood who enlightened gautama Buddha but the difference is gautama went out an preached Buddhism to people and founded a movement, I was talking about Boddhidhama, the later prince turned monk who moved to China and ushered the zen movement throughout all of northern Asia..his position within the Buddhist cannon and as well as his influence are like that of Jesus..he wanted people to prepare to fight by inventing shaolin kung-fu (i am here to bring a sword)but also hoped that they would use this preparation for peace.(those who live by the sword dies by the sword).also legend has it that boddhidhama died and grave robbers dug up his grave to find nothing inside of his coffin, suggesting that he came back to life after death like Jesus. Maybe Jesus and boddidhama are both the same cosmic entitie..preaching for the Same kind of alignment but through the language of different religions and concepts from the cultures he incarnated into.

I started noticing the similarities between Buddhism and Christianity a good 30 to 40 years ago. My Christian denomination encouraged us to think. Evangelical friends of mine over the years have felt very threatened by these ideas and prefer to view Christianity as inseparable from Judaism, focusing heavily on Old Testament texts and prophesies. I am very open to the concept of a failed crucifixion and a return by Jesus to the East. This is the part that totally unsettles evangelicals, because their salvation is locked into the resurrection and ascension. I'm hoping to learn much more about the Buddhist Jesus. Thank you for this.

Kashmiri Hindus practice a form of Hinduism, which has both monotheistic and polytheistic elements. The Kashmiri Shaiva Agamas, a tradition developed by Kashmiri Hindus, posit that God (Shiva) is present everywhere in the world, including in all beings and non-living things. The Agamas also state that there is no spiritual difference between God, matter, life, and man. This philosophy is considered absolute oneness, and is different from some other dualistic philosophies that say the individual Self and Ultimate Reality are separate. Your post would explain this unique none dualist form of Hinduism. Having visited Pakistani Kashmere from UK with my Sufi Sheikh I can honestly say I thought I'd landed in heaven on earth. Jazakallah Khair for your work producing this it is informative and also beautifully produced.

BOTH JESUS AND BUDDHA WERE INSPIRED BY JAINISM WHICH WAS WIDESPREAD IN INDIA, ANCIENT PALESTINE, AND NORTHERN EGYPT. BUDDHISM IS AN OFFSHOOT OF JAINISM. Gautam Siddhartha (Buddha) followed the practices of Digambar Jain monks during his 6 years of searching (see MAJJHIMA NIKAYA). He studied under Uddaka Ramaputta who was a teacher of Jainism mentioned also in the Jain scriptures as well. Buddha’s “Middle Way” was basically a protest against Jain monastic practices. Buddha’s uncle Vappa was a Jain according to Buddhist scriptures. Buddha got a lot of his terminology directly from Jainism, such as Nirvana, Samyak, Arhat, Jina, 5 vows, etc. Buddha was born and raised in an area of India where Jainism was strong (foothills of the Himalayas). Also in the MAJJHIMA NIKAYA, Buddha says that he used to believe the same things that the Jain monks believed. Buddhist cosmology copied some major aspects from Jainism including Mt. Meru and ring continents. The list goes on.

Read the book; Why God Won’t Go Away “ by Andrew Newberg, MD. Neurologist “ and Eugene D’Aquili, PhD. Basically as I understand it, the human brain is wired with systems (sympathetic, parasympathetic, autonomous systems and more) which leads humans to seek “that which is larger than ourselves” God, Source, Universe etc. Humans all over the planet, because of our brains/minds, seek ! It’s not a mystery why Buddha and Jesus, though centuries and continents apart, found the same teachings!

Lord Buddha explains quite detailed in "Brahmajāla Sutta" how prophets like Jesus, Mohammed etc., and the gods of these religions, came to have their understanding of their reality. However, what I find particularly fascinating about Lord Buddha's explanation is that he actually explains the universe is expanding and contracting, additionally he says that the universe at this time is expanding. This is quite specific if you ask me, modern science relatively recently figured this out 😊 Here comes a small extract from the sutta: “There are, bhikkhus, some recluses and brahmins who are eternalists in regard to some things and non-eternalists in regard to other things, and who on four grounds proclaim the self and the world to be partly eternal and partly non-eternal. And owing to what, with reference to what, do these honourable recluses and brahmins proclaim their views? “There comes a time, bhikkhus, when after the lapse of a long period this world contracts (disintegrates). While the world is contracting, beings for the most part are reborn in the Ābhassara Brahma-world. There they dwell, mind-made, feeding on rapture, self-luminous, moving through the air, abiding in glory. And they continue thus for a long, long period of time. “But sooner or later, bhikkhus, after the lapse of a long period, there comes a time when this world begins to expand once again. While the world is expanding, an empty palace of Brahmā appears. Then a certain being, due to the exhaustion of his life-span or the exhaustion of his merit, passes away from the Ābhassara plane and re-arises in the empty palace of Brahmā. There he dwells, mind made, feeding on rapture, self-luminous, moving through the air, abiding in glory. And he continues thus for a long, long period of time. “Then, as a result of dwelling there all alone for so long a time, there arises in him dissatisfaction and agitation, (and he yearns): ‘Oh, that other beings might come to this place!’ Just at that moment, due to the exhaustion of their life-span or the exhaustion of their merit, certain other beings pass away from the Ābhassara plane and re-arise in the palace of Brahmā, in companionship with him. There they dwell, mind-made, feeding on rapture, self-luminous, moving through the air, abiding in glory. And they continue thus for a long, long period of time. “Thereupon the being who re-arose there first thinks to himself: ‘I am Brahmā, the Great Brahmā, the Vanquisher, the Unvanquished, the Universal Seer, the Wielder of Power, the Lord, the Maker and Creator, the Supreme Being, the Ordainer, the Almighty, the Father of all that are and are to be. And these beings have been created by me. What is the reason? Because first I made the wish: “Oh, that other beings might come to this place!” And after I made this resolution, now these beings have come.’ “And the beings who re-arose there after him also think: ‘This must be Brahmā, the Great Brahmā, the Vanquisher, the Unvanquished, the Universal Seer, the Wielder of Power, the Lord, the Maker and Creator, the Supreme Being, the Ordainer, the Almighty, the Father of all that are and are to be. And we have been created by him. What is the reason? Because we see that he was here first, and we appeared here after him.’ “Herein, bhikkhus, the being who re-arose there first possesses longer life, greater beauty, and greater authority than the beings who re-arose there after him. “Now, bhikkhus, this comes to pass, that a certain being, after passing away from that plane, takes rebirth in this world. Having come to this world, he goes forth from home to homelessness. When he has gone forth, by means of ardour, endeavour, application, diligence, and right reflection, he attains to such a degree of mental concentration that with his mind thus concentrated he recollects his immediately preceding life, but none previous to that. He speaks thus: ‘We were created by him, by Brahmā, the Great Brahmā, the Vanquisher, the Unvanquished, the Universal Seer, the Wielder of Power, the Lord, the Maker and Creator, the Supreme Being, the Ordainer, the Almighty, the Father of all that are and are to be. He is permanent, stable, eternal, not subject to change, and he will remain the same just like eternity itself. But we, who have been created by him and have come to this world, are impermanent, unstable, short-lived, doomed to perish.’ “This, bhikkhus, is the first case. The full sutta can be read here for those who are interested: suttacentral.net/dn1/en/bodhi?lang=en&reference=none&highlight=false

@Open-the-channel No offence meant, this is only meant as a pointer toward the Dhamma, but what was stated about the Brahmajāla Sutta still stands just as valid. Further, thoughts are impermanent, unsatisfactory and not self, so is all materiality and mentality as well as every creator god, so is Jesus, it is all part of Saṃsāra, thinking otherwise falls under the defilement of delusion. Only Nibbāna is permanent. May all beings, from the deepest hells to the highest heavens find true happiness and be freed from suffering through their individual realization of the Blessed One's teaching, and until they reach the other shore may they find the only real refuge for any being, the refuge in the Triple Gem ☸️

@@OmniGeorge Thank you for sharing these thoughts. While your comment raises some interesting points, several of the claims are either disputed by historians or are not supported by existing scriptural evidence. Here is a more nuanced overview: 1. Was Buddhism merely an “offshoot” of Jainism? - Both Buddhism and Jainism emerged in roughly the same region (northern India) and timeframe (6th-5th century BCE). Given the shared cultural milieu, they do exhibit certain parallels, such as ascetic practices and the concept of liberation (nirvana/moksha). - However, it is overly simplistic to assert that Buddhism is a direct offshoot of Jainism. Scholars generally agree that these two traditions developed independently, each with its own distinct teachings, rituals, and philosophies. 2. Did the Buddha follow Jain teachers or Jain practices? - According to the Pāli Canon (specifically the Majjhima Nikāya), the Buddha studied under several teachers-among them Āḷāra Kālāma and Uddaka Rāmaputta-who taught meditation and ascetic disciplines. It remains unclear whether these teachers were strictly “Jain” as we understand the term today, or if they represented a broader ascetic milieu. - While it is true that some elements of Jain and Buddhist ascetic practices look similar, there were also numerous heterodox groups in northern India at that time. Buddha’s early ascetic period was informed by a range of teachings, not exclusively Jain monasticism. 3. The Middle Way was not a protest - The idea that the Buddha’s “Middle Way” was fundamentally a protest against Jainism (or any single ascetic group) is an oversimplification. Rather, it was a spiritual path that arose from the Buddha’s insight into the drawbacks of both extreme austerities and self-indulgence. - Buddha realized that extreme self-mortification (whatever its origin) did not lead to ultimate liberation. Instead, through personal contemplation and direct experience, he formulated a balanced approach-avoiding the two extremes of indulgence and severe asceticism. This approach was not framed as an act of protest; it was a constructive discovery meant to point the way to liberation through moderation, ethical conduct, and mental cultivation. 4. Shared terminology (“nirvana,” “arhat,” etc.) - Many religious and philosophical schools of the time employed a broader Indian lexicon. Terms like nirvana (nibbāna), arhat (arahant), and jina circulated widely in different traditions, each interpreting them through its own doctrinal lens. - Consequently, commonalities in language do not necessarily prove direct borrowing; rather, they may reflect a shared cultural and philosophical heritage in ancient India. 5. Buddha’s relatives and Jainism - Claims regarding Buddha’s uncle Vappa being a Jain, or that Buddha had direct family ties to Jainism, are not clearly supported by the Pāli Canon. Later commentaries or sect-specific texts may contain such assertions, but these should be treated with caution unless corroborated by early sources. 6. Influence of Jainism on Jesus or spread of Jainism to Palestine/Egypt - Jainism’s documented historical footprint is largely confined to the Indian subcontinent. Assertions that Jainism was widespread in ancient Palestine and Egypt are not substantiated by mainstream scholarship. - Likewise, there is no credible evidence that Jesus’s teachings were directly informed by Jainism (or Buddhism). 7. Cosmological parallels - References to Mount Meru, ring continents, and other cosmic motifs appear in multiple ancient Indian traditions, including Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. These are best viewed as part of a broader shared worldview in the region rather than any one religion copying another outright. In summary, while there are certainly overlapping themes between Buddhism and Jainism-given their shared cultural and historical backdrop-Buddhism did not simply grow out of Jainism. Also, the Buddha’s Middle Way was not primarily a protest against Jain monasticism; it was the product of his realization that both extreme asceticism and indulgence fail to foster true liberation. The claim that Jainism was widespread in ancient Palestine or that it had a direct influence on Jesus lacks credible historical support. It is always prudent to approach such broad generalizations with a critical eye and rely on established textual and historical scholarship for clearer insights.

@@EtKlarereSinn Since you have clearly not studied Jainism, the ancient Greeks, early Christianity, early Buddhism, or the Vedic traditions in a level of detail that would make my points very clear, I'll try to respond to a few of your points and hope that this encourages you to learn and read on your own rather than deferring to so-called scholars - generally westerners - who have their own agendas. To start out, here are a few points. Jainism did not begin with Mahavira and there is abundant evidence of Jainism before Mahavira's time including from the Vedic and Buddhists texts as well as archaeologically from the Indus Civilization. The only people in all of history to assert that Mahavira was the founder of Jainism have been western scholars and those parroting their statements. Even western scholars have had to concede that the previous Tirthankar Parshva had to have been a historical person. There is further evidence of Rishabha and Arishtanemi in the Vedic and Hindu literature. There is a teacher named Ramaputta described in one of the earliest Jain texts called Rishibhashit, and he is described as a teacher of Jain ideas but not considered to be of the Jain fold. The common terminology is not of general or common use in ancient India. They originated somewhere, and not in the Vedic tradition which itself arrived from Iran and adopted Indian characteristics in the period after its arrival. These are Shramanic concepts, and Jainism is the first and original Shramanic religion. The Greeks were heavily influenced by the Gymnosophists of ancient India and northern Egypt. Pythagoras, the Greek Cynics, the Skeptics, Democritus, Empedocles, and many other influential Greek thinkers were profoundly influenced by the Gymnosophists who were none other than the naked Jain monks per the descriptions given of them in the Greek and early Christian texts. You simply have not studied any of this and have no clue about it. The Greek Cynics had a city of their own called Gadara in ancient Palestine which was much closer to Nazareth than Nazareth was to Jerusalem or the other major sites of Judaism. There and the northern Egyptian stronghold of the Gymnosophists were the incubation centers of early Christianity's ascetic tradition which very closely resembled Jain monasticism. More below. Have an attitude of wanting to learn something rather than trying to prove your point which is very weakly informed by the available evidence.

@@EtKlarereSinn Though he was born into Judaism, Jesus broke free from many Judaic beliefs • Like the Greek thinkers before him, Jesus of Nazareth challenged his own society’s ways • As written in the New Testament, in Jesus’ times the religion of Judaism was led by priests known as the Pharisees and the Scribes • Jesus accused these Jewish authorities of corrupting their religion and promoting their own superiority to the detriment of others • In contrast, Jesus taught his own followers to be peaceful and humble, to love all people, assist those in need, practice honesty and self-control, and treat every person as an equal • This angered the Jewish priests who manipulated the local Roman governor to have Jesus tortured and executed by crucifixion • Jesus’ message of universal love and respect was met with such resistance that Jewish scholars later wrote (in the Talmud, Gittin 57a) that Jesus was an evil sinner who is suffering in hell for denying the supremacy of the Jewish priests How did Jesus gain such unorthodox ideas? What motivated him to risk his life to spread them?

Taking the idea of Jesus as a Bodhisattva, since he wishes to stay in the physical plane to help living beings, means that he is to come back. His reincarnation would be in human form, but with all the marks of enlightenment still upon him, he will be a human of great potential. I could see him coming back now in a time of such great uncertainty for our future, establishing his 'Kingdom of God' or 'Kingdom of Shambhala'

Because His mission was a sacrifice for the sins of the world. He was the lamb of God; in the law of Jews (Torah), they have to sacrifice a lamb, goat, or young calf without defect to cleanse their sins every year. When Jesus (also God Himself came in the flesh) was sacrificed, whoever believed in Him was saved from eternal hell and became the rightful heir of God. It is not required to sacrifice animal blood anymore. The main goal of Christians is to share this good news (gospel). It's not just about performing miracles. It's about having compassion, loving the Lord our God with all our being, and loving our neighbor as ourselves.

A segment from 'Saved by the Light of the Buddha Within'... My new understandings of what many call 'God -The Holy Spirit' - resulting from some of the extraordinary ongoing after-effects relating to my NDE... Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what some scientists are now referring to as the unified field of consciousnesses. In other words, it’s the essence of all existence and non-existence - the ultimate creative force behind planets, stars, nebulae, people, animals, trees, fish, birds, and all phenomena, manifest or latent. All matter and intelligence are simply waves or ripples manifesting to and from this core source. Consciousness (enlightenment) is itself the actual creator of everything that exists now, ever existed in the past, or will exist in the future - right down to the minutest particles of dust - each being an individual ripple or wave. The big difference between chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo and most other conventional prayers is that instead of depending on a ‘middleman’ to connect us to our state of inner enlightenment, we’re able to do it ourselves. That’s because chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo allows us to tap directly into our enlightened state by way of this self-produced sound vibration. ‘Who or What Is God?’ If we compare the concept of God being a separate entity that is forever watching down on us, to the teachings of Nichiren, it makes more sense to me that the true omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence of what most people perceive to be God, is the fantastic state of enlightenment that exists within each of us. Some say that God is an entity that’s beyond physical matter - I think that the vast amount of information continuously being conveyed via electromagnetic waves in today’s world gives us proof of how an invisible state of God could indeed exist. For example, it’s now widely known that specific data relayed by way of electromagnetic waves has the potential to help bring about extraordinary and powerful effects - including an instant global awareness of something or a mass emotional reaction. It’s also common knowledge that these invisible waves can easily be used to detonate a bomb or to enable NASA to control the movements of a robot as far away as the Moon or Mars - none of which is possible without a receiver to decode the information that’s being transmitted. Without the receiver, the data would remain impotent. In a very similar way, we need to have our own ‘receiver’ switched on so that we can activate a clear and precise understanding of our own life, all other life and what everything else in existence is. Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day helps us to achieve this because it allows us to reach the core of our enlightenment and keep it switched on. That’s because Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what scientists now refer to as the unified field of consciousnesses. To break it down - Myoho represents the Law of manifestation and latency (Nature) and consists of two alternating states. For example, the state of Myo is where everything in life that’s not obvious to us exists - including our stored memories when we’re not thinking about them - our hidden potential and inner emotions whenever they’re dormant - our desires, our fears, our wisdom, happiness, karma - and more importantly, our enlightenment. The other state, ho, is where everything in Life exists whenever it becomes evident to us, such as when a thought pops up from within our memory - whenever we experience or express our emotions - or whenever a good or bad cause manifests as an effect from our karma. When anything becomes apparent, it merely means that it’s come out of the state of Myo (dormancy/latency) and into a state of ho (manifestation). It’s the difference between consciousness and unconsciousness, being awake or asleep, or knowing and not knowing. The second law - Renge - Ren meaning cause and ge meaning effect, governs and controls the functions of Myoho - these two laws of Myoho and Renge, not only function together simultaneously but also underlies all spiritual and physical existence. The final and third part of the tri-combination - Kyo, is the Law that allows Myoho to integrate with Renge - or vice versa. It’s the great, invisible thread of energy that fuses and connects all Life and matter - as well as the past, present and future. It’s also sometimes termed the Universal Law of Communication - perhaps it could even be compared with the string theory that many scientists now suspect exists. Just as the cells in our body, our thoughts, feelings and everything else is continually fluctuating within us - all that exists in the world around us and beyond is also in a constant state of flux - constantly controlled by these three fundamental laws. In fact, more things are going back and forth between the two states of Myo and ho in a single moment than it would ever be possible to calculate or describe. And it doesn’t matter how big or small, famous or trivial anything or anyone may appear to be, everything that’s ever existed in the past, exists now or will exist in the future, exists only because of the workings of the Laws ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ - the basis of the four fundamental forces, and if they didn’t function, neither we nor anything else could go on existing. That’s because all forms of existence, including the seasons, day, night, birth, death and so on, are moving forward in an ongoing flow of continuation - rhythmically reverting back and forth between the two fundamental states of Myo and ho in absolute accordance with Renge - and by way of Kyo. Even stars are dying and being reborn under the workings of what the combination ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ represents. Nam, or Namu - which mean the same thing, are vibrational passwords or keys that allow us to reach deep into our life and fuse with or become one with ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’. On a more personal level, nothing ever happens by chance or coincidence, it’s the causes that we’ve made in our past, or are presently making, that determine how these laws function uniquely in each of our lives - as well as the environment from moment to moment. By facing east, in harmony with the direction that the Earth is spinning, and chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo for a minimum of, let’s say, ten minutes daily to start with, any of us can experience actual proof of its positive effects in our lives - even if it only makes us feel good on the inside, there will be a definite positive effect. That’s because we’re able to pierce through the thickest layers of our karma and activate our inherent Buddha Nature (our enlightened state). By so doing, we’re then able to bring forth the wisdom and good fortune that we need to challenge, overcome and change our adverse circumstances - turn them into positive ones - or manifest and gain even greater fulfilment in our daily lives from our accumulated good karma. This also allows us to bring forth the wisdom that can free us from the ignorance and stupidity that’s preventing us from accepting and being proud of the person that we indeed are - regardless of our race, colour, gender or sexuality. We’re also able to see and understand our circumstances and the environment far more clearly, as well as attract and connect with any needed external beneficial forces and situations. As I’ve already mentioned, everything is subject to the law of Cause and Effect - the ‘actual-proof-strength’ resulting from chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo always depends on our determination, sincerity and dedication. For example, the levels of difference could be compared to making a sound on a piano, creating a melody, producing a great song, and so on. Something else that’s very important to always respect and acknowledge is that the Law (or if you prefer God) is in everyone and everything. NB: There are frightening and disturbing sounds, and there are tranquil and relaxing sounds. It’s the emotional result of any noise or sound that can trigger off a mood or even instantly change one. When chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day, we are producing a sound vibration that’s the password to our true inner-self - this soon becomes apparent when you start reassessing your views on various things - such as your fears and desires etc. The best way to get the desired result when chanting is not to view things conventionally - rather than reaching out to an external source, we need to reach into our own lives and bring our needs and desires to fruition from within - including the good fortune and strength to achieve any help that we may need. Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo also reaches out externally and draws us towards, or draws towards us, what we need to make us happy from our environment. For example, it helps us to be in the right place at the right time - to make better choices and decisions and so forth. We need to think of it as a seed within us that we’re watering and bringing sunshine to for it to grow, blossom and bring forth fruit or flowers. It’s also important to understand that everything we need in life, including the answer to every question and the potential to achieve every dream, already exists within us.

The Buddha after his Enlightenment had many followers who also became enlightened from his teachings over the course of 2,000 years or more. Many were omniscient who were mainly from India, China, Tibet, Thailand, Japan and so on. As far as I know these beings mention of Jesus could have been recorded but I have yet to come across it. Accept for one enlightened teacher who said that Jesus did visit lands between his home and India (but never reached India). He visited many monasteries along the way and did learn some of the teachings. At that time the Mahayana teachings of Amitabha Buddha and Land of Ultimate Bliss (Pureland teachings) were popular in the region. Jesus, once back in his home most likely misunderstood these teachings, Amitabha was interpreted as God and the Land of Ultimate Bliss (Pureland) was interpreted as the Kingdom of God. The teachings though quite parallel but took different directions. So, the message took different meanings. Amitabha' s Pureland teachings were taught by the Buddha and to this day, it is the most important teachings in Mahayana Buddhism. The death of Jesus from crucifixion at age 30 was a complete tragedy but turned somehow to be the salvation of mankind or thereabouts....

nah. Jesus did not exist. Jesus was a figment of imagination of Helena- the jewish mother of King constantine.. If you are still adamant that he existed, at least try to logically validate the nicene creed claims of Christianity like ``Virgin birth ``'' son of god". if you don't validate, then you are just blindly believing that he existed based on fantasy stories propagated as history.. Magdalene existed but so called Jesus did not. She was obviously the wife of a person called Damsa (a sidekick of APOLLONIUS OF TYANA). Apollonius of Tyana (an enlightened “pagan” sage) was suppressed but his sidekick Damsa was propagated as the enlightened one and he was re-named as so called 'Jesus". This is nothing but identity theft.

Lets not forget that Christ was called a Rabbi. At the age of 12 he was already well versed in the scriptures as his mother lost him in the temple and found him later surrounded by teachers - Luke 2: 4-47. "After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers." Then all those times he was called a Rabbi: Matthew 26:25 - During the Last Supper, Judas Iscariot addresses Jesus as "Rabbi": "Then Judas, the one who would betray him, said, 'Surely you don’t mean me, Rabbi?' Jesus answered, 'You have said so.'" Matthew 26:49 - When Judas betrays Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane: "Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, 'Greetings, Rabbi!' and kissed him." Mark 9:5 - At the Transfiguration, Peter calls Jesus "Rabbi": "Peter said to Jesus, 'Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters-one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.'” Mark 11:21 - After Jesus cursed the fig tree, Peter calls him "Rabbi": "Peter remembered and said to Jesus, 'Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!'" John 1:38 - Early in the Gospel of John, some of the first disciples call Jesus "Rabbi": "Turning around, Jesus saw them following and asked, 'What do you want?' They said, 'Rabbi' (which means Teacher), 'where are you staying?'" John 3:2 - Nicodemus, a Pharisee, addresses Jesus as "Rabbi": "He came to Jesus at night and said, 'Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.'" During the time of Jesus, the process of becoming a rabbi or recognized teacher of Jewish law was less formalized than it is today. There wasn't a fixed number of years required, but the general process involved extensive study, often from childhood, under the guidance of established rabbis and religious teachers. Here's an overview of the steps during that time: Early Education (5-12 years old): Jewish boys began their religious education at a young age, often starting at around 5 years old. They were taught the Torah (the first five books of the Hebrew Bible) in local synagogues or schools. Advanced Study (12-15 years old): After learning the basics of the Torah, young boys who showed promise continued to study the Mishnah (the oral traditions and interpretations of the Torah). This is the stage where Jesus, at age 12, was found in the temple engaging with teachers, demonstrating a deep understanding of scripture (Luke 2:41-52). Following a Rabbi (Late Teens/Early Adulthood): Young men who aspired to deeper learning would seek out a recognized rabbi to become a disciple. This stage involved following a rabbi closely, observing his teachings, and learning the nuances of Jewish law. There was no fixed length for this training; it depended on the individual's aptitude and the depth of the rabbi's teaching. Becoming a Rabbi (Varied Timing): Once a student gained sufficient knowledge and the rabbi deemed him fit to interpret and teach the law, he might be recognized as a rabbi himself. This could occur in his early adulthood, depending on how long he studied and his reputation. India, is a country where idols are worshipped. And it would be a bit contradictory for Jesus to go there when its clear that in the Old Testament, his Father said that the other gods who were mostly the fallen angels of Genesis chapter 6 were not supposed to be worshipped. But not to be dismissed that India is from the Shem lineage- Noah's son- mentioned in chapter 10 in Old Testament.

The only thing about all of this is that like any of the names of Ancient Judea, Yeshua too, was a pretty popular name, meaning that there could very well have been more than one Yeshua. All these Yeshuas may have existed and did all these things, and went to all of these places, but was it the same Yeshua that founded the Nazarene Sect. Our modern religion of Christianity was created by Paul and added to and finished off by Rome itself, and actually, has next to nothing to do with the historical, Jewish, Yeshua at all. Now was Yeshua from Nazareth, a little village that many believe did not even, exist in Yeshua's time, or a Nazarene, which seems to have been an offshoot of the Essene Community, or both? Right now, I am open to both possibilities. The Essene Community, embodied and kept alive many of the teachings and beliefs you present here. Yours in Love and Light. Out. 🖖🏼❤‍🔥😔

I did hear and read in some papers that Jesus travelled to India and learnt Buddhism and he even mentioned at the end of his teaching that if any of his student/follower wish to learn beyond what he taught, can rely and study Buddhism. Anyway, dear viewers, do not consume anything available on social media these days. If you are not sure which to go with, study every religion, know and compare their principles, meaning, core values, philosophy, rationality, validity, practical applicability in modern daily lives. If you know those differences, only then can you be able to make a right choice. Otherwise you will always be in confusion or more likely make a wrong choice. I can at least say, "All the religions are same" is a politically correct statement but not true. There are some similarities but not same, vast differences.

I believe Yeshua aka Jesus took what resonated with him and through his own interpretation he had his own self-realization however as he tried to pass down these knowledge to his disciples who probably saw him as this " Superior being" due to his travels, studies and interactions with a different culture, they couldn't really grasped his words and teachings since they most likely lacked the proper vocabulary to understand what he wanted to teach. Kind of like when a person from a small town goes abroad for years and comes back with all this money, titles, etx. The people he grew up as a child still lived in Nazareth, they never left so they were never exposed to what Yeshua was. Does it make sense?

I noticed the similarity between Jesus' message and Buddhist texts early on, and only later did I see that many others had noticed it too. But I see another explanation than Jesus in India: at least since Alexander the Great's campaigns in India, there have been intensive relations between India and the ancient Mediterranean world. From there, there were lively trade relations as far as Borneo, Sumatra, etc. And there was certainly cultural exchange too, for example in some regions in India there are sculptures, reliefs, inscriptions, etc. from the time of Alexander in a mixed Indian-Greek style. And Buddhism was well known in the Roman Empire, Buddhist monks traveled around, and at least once a Roman emperor (Hadrian) received a delegation from India. The land route from India inevitably led via Persia and through the Roman province of Judea into other areas of the Roman Empire as far as Italy and Rome, and the journey was not even particularly long. The probability that the young Jesus met wandering Buddhist monks is relatively high, especially for a clever and religiously curious young man. My theory is also supported by the fact that there are conspicuous references to Buddhism and Hinduism in the New Testament and the apocryphal Gospel of Thomas - but nothing more, that is, the texts or words of Jesus are not directly Buddhist/Hindu, but are probably Buddhist/Hindu inspired. This could indicate that Jesus had conversations with Buddhist monks and took an interest in their teachings, but without becoming a Buddhist himself in the narrow sense.

Why would Jesus go to india to learn buddhism? Was it not that at 12 years old in the human age, he was already an authority of the Scriptures and endowed by God with wisdom which no humans can match? The fact that the Jewish religious authorities were very much in awe and surprise. Jesus is the Son of God, and His power and wisdom. His alleged lost years were recorded in the bible that he helped his foster father, Joseph, in his carpentry works. After 12 years old and 18 years thereafter, Jesus, being the eldest, was a carpenter by profession like Joseph and this is not surprising because Joseph, being a carpenter, raised his family in that profession. Why would ask for scrutiny in the life of Jesus after he was 12 years old? Would it not be ridiculous, if the gospel writers will write all of the carpentry works done by Jesus and Joseph, every day for 18 years? Of course, it is ridculous. That is why this 18 years of Jesus was not actually lost but instead were un recorded for obvious reason. And this alleged 18 years lost, was clearly summed up by the phrase, "Is he not the carpenter's son? The Son of Mary and his brothers and sisters with us"? So therefore, there is no need to speculate about this unrecorded or un reported life of Jesus for 18 years. The bible is clear. Just extend more of yur imagination and understanding and you will know the answer of your questions.

Jesus journeyed to Southeast Asia, a region frequently mentioned in the Bible. Asestingly, representations of Jesus do not portray him as a white man or a Black man; instead, he is often depicted with tawny skin. If Jesus had been in India, why would the prayer he taught-“Our Father in Heaven”-not be recognized there? Remarkably, this prayer was known only in the Philippines. Spanish explorers noted that before the advent of Christianity, Filipinos prayed with their hands raised upward, addressing God as “Abba,” a term that means father. This connection underscores the rich spiritual heritage of the Philippines, suggesting that the essence of Jesus’ teachings may have resonated deeply within this culture long before Western influences arrived. They simply taught the same nested lesson of inner peace in different cryptic verbiage. The Buddha and Jesus are but two of perhaps thousands of others from antiquity. Guru's of inner peace. Jesus got abused by the Abrahamics however and turned into an evil teacher of Christianity. They idol worship him instead of following his teachings. Imagine if Buddhists worshiped the Buddha as God. That's what the Christians do with Jesus. The Buddha teaches Karma or the law of reciprocity - Jesus teaches 'the measure you mete unto others is coming back at ya in the same manner.' Same lesson The Buddha - 'Seek emptiness.' Jesus - 'Blessed is the poor in Spirit." Same lesson Unwrap the analogous verbiage. Those are the same teachings at a mental level. All the way through. Make them mental, not supernatural.

The three wise men came from the EAST, where there was a long established interest in virgin births, associated with the reincarnation of Buddhists of high standing eg lamas. It is possible they returned later to take him back to study in the Himalayan area. A 12 year old boy is unlikely to set off on a journey of that nature by himself. We must also keep in mind that the Romans who formalized Christianity only included in the Bible that which the gentiles would acquiesce to. Rome sought obedience to the religion of their Empire, so there was heavy editing of the final canonized Bible.

In Christianity the salvation comes only through faith alone, Christ alone. Their salvation is in an eternal existence. But in Buddhism the salvation is a completely different thing. It is akin to oblivion upon death - and should be realized within oneself and no outside entity can save you. Those are the biggest differences in the dogma. Means may be similar - but for completely different ends.

Some people academics etc are suggesting that Jesus didn't die on the cross. One theory says the Roman guards didn't wait for the people to slowly die on the cross but went home. And Jesus's friends & disciples came and got him off the cross. And he survived and went to India. He. Couldn't remain in North Africa or go to Europe as these places were overrun by the Romans. So he headed to India. And it well may have been possible that when the tide went out there was an area where he could cross over to Asia and onto India. Think about it, people don't come back from the dead, they might come back after dying on an operating table or after their heart stops and they are revived using a defibrillator after a relatively short space of time before they brain dies of oxygen starvation. Some are now saying the Bible isn't a history book but rather just a story, perhaps an allegory, a moral story. It's impossible to come back to life once you are properly dead, even with modern medical equipment

There is a cave in Southern Ohio that has carvings of animals on the walls. I believe that jesus lived there and studied taxidermy and veterinary medicine. See how easy it is to make up stories.😀

Aham bhrama is a Hindu God : The creator and his consort is Saraswati ( Abraham and Sarah in Christianity probably came from Aham bhrama and Saraswati). The Hindu worship Shiva by water in Ganga river and the Christian use water for Baptism. The Buddhist monks in the ancient time could walk on water while Jesus could walk on water as well. The Ten Commandments are similar to the five Silas in Buddhism. And the ancient Buddhist monks could cure the sick by touching which is similar to Jesus

Mary also accompanied Jesus towards East where other 11 tribes of Israel lived. She passed away in beautiful hilly area in Pakistan, then named after her “Marry”. Jesus traveled upto Kashmir where he passed away at the age of 120 years. Jesus tomb is in Kashmir, a heavenly land. Read on internet “Jesus in India “ by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad.

Could sufficient Budhhist teaching have percolated westwards, for instance to larger cities like Jerusalem, for Jesus to have picked it up without leaving Palestine? The Roman Empire was quite a melting-pot of religious faiths.

The five precepts for lay people in Buddhism and the commandments in Christianity may be similar in worldly affairs. However, even here, in Buddhism it’s not a command from Buddha. The ideology behind Buddhas teaching is purification of the mind and hence thoughts. That’s why there are no ‘thou shall not’ in Buddhism. Instead we say ‘ I shall abstain from taking another’s life, I shall abstain from taking what is not given to me…’ etc. We are responsible for our actions and there’s no one to forgive our sins. We must atone for them ourselves in the form of karma. Christianity and Buddhism are fundamentally different especially in the metaphysical - we don’t believe in a creator- god; we don’t believe in a soul. Buddhism is not a religion, it’s reality, the truth about existence of all beings, including gods, brahmas, animals, the plant world and micro biome, hell bound beings, all in existence- even beings outside our solar system. However, Lord Buddha does not encourage us to go behind such things and urges us to seek nirvana because samsara - the endless cycle of birth and death ( because of the probability of being born in unwholesome realms) is stated as horrendous. Christianity doesn’t talk about that, now does it?

Both these men found a deeper truth about reality, it’s universal and neither of them needed to hear it prior. They both found the burning bush. Maybe jesus did go to india, the fact that he’s missing for so long is absurd and someone decided to rid themselves of it. In any case, the truth of the teaching stand alone as truth

Awesome take on Yeshua, I think its plausible, because I read in the gospel of John 8:57 that Jesus was not yet 50 years old and you seen Abraham, they didn't say not yet forty. And King Herod who sought to kill baby Jesus died in 4-7 BC, that would put Jesus in his forties, my point would be in my research your not considered a teacher or Rabbi till the age of forty so the lost years would be at least 28 years which would have givin Jesus plenty of learning time, and time for journey's to learn wisdom and philosophy

Buddha's concept of karma perfectly explained all the good and bad of creation whothout monothesis relious ppl struggling to justify why God allows evil in the world etc. His 4 Noble Truths encompasses the dilemma of Albrahamic God at one hand described as perfect and loving, while in another hand appears massacring beings, jealous and full of anger with demons. In summary, I see Buddha's teaching the most perfect without the loopholes of Albrahic religions.

@@fish-108 First learn about the Varna system which has nothing to do with the present day Caste system popularized by the Britishers. Varna system in books has no issues. It is the followers who did it dirty. There is no such thing as Buddhism vs Hinduism. You can follow both and equally be progressing on your path of Spirituality.

@@regal.09 not too much of a difference between varna and caste. sure, the varna seems A LITTLE BIT gentler and flexible, but ultimately, no difference. listen, u go ahead and stick to your vedic stuff, where even in the MOST ANCIENT versions, involved, blood sacrifice. any Creature that sustains itself on death, sacrifice, blood, obeisance and worship (sounds like an abrahamiKKK goD, no?), all-powerful or not, i just simply pity... Buddha's Critique of Animal Sacrifice Buddha strongly opposed animal and blood sacrifices, which is evident in several Buddhist teachings and texts, particularly in the Theravada tradition: Ahimsa (Non-Violence): One of Buddha’s core teachings is the principle of ahimsa, which means non-violence. He emphasized compassion and kindness towards all living beings, which directly contradicted the practice of animal sacrifice. Ethical Conduct: Buddha taught that true religious practice is rooted in ethical conduct and mental cultivation rather than ritualistic sacrifices. He promoted offerings of flowers, incense, and moral virtues instead of blood sacrifices. Teachings in Canonical Texts: In the Dhammapada and other early Buddhist scriptures, Buddha explicitly criticizes the killing of animals for sacrifice, highlighting the importance of compassion and the futility of such rituals in achieving spiritual progress.

@@fish-108 I remember coming across content about Buddhist tantric. I never explored that. But this is what Abrahamic religions do. Won't let people explore. I am a pure vegetarian and on a personal level I won't endorse these practices of Animal sacrifices. But you got to be intelligent to know that the world is beyond me and you. There are a lot of things happening. Since you follow a Path doesn't mean every human would follow that. Look at Tibet. My heart bleeds for Buddhists in Tibet. Peace demands war. If you don't take up arms to safeguard what you believe in then you will be extinct. And Tantric practices are another path of Spirituality.

As a Buddhist, I really urge Buddhist youtubers to think twice before posting such topic. Let the historians or archeologists do it. Of course we all respect Christ as a Bodhisattva, but the Christian doesn't view this way. The Christians will view this as our propaganda by saying Christ is a follower of Buddhism. They won't understand Buddhism is just a way to Enlightment and is an inclusive religion / philosophy. This topic doesn't reduce our 煩惱 (troubled mind) in fact it may increase it if the Christian group started a dispute or "fight" in this Channel. Why the need to bring it up ? Let the more independent scholars discuss it please. We Buddhists do not need to know this to enhance our faith and Christians won't be converted because of this, so what's the point ??
