A question for a former college coach: how long does it take to evaluate a new high school player when they arrive on campus and join the team?

I miss Lou Holtz, Mark May and Rece in the studio! CFB Final was a must watch at the end of every CFB Saturday!

Urban makes an interesting point about his National Title teams not being his most talented teams. They were the teams that had the it factor with leadership. You saw that with Michigan this past season. Ohio St and Bama were more talented than them but Michigan had incredible player leadership that put them over the edge.

Both were pure college coaches. Interesting enough both took jobs in the NFL, and neither made it through their first season in the NFL.

Urban why did you not get back into coaching after Ohio State? Why did you not take the Nebraska job?
