Good video showing how it really goes working on a car in your garage. I'm not a huge fan of the setup personally. I have a MK8 R and have a Milltek catted downpipe and Milltek cat back exhaust. Dont know if you have any sort of droning issue or not but hopefully not

The milltek was definitely an option but i wanted to go with something more cost effective. (I think its about half the cost). While in the driving POV it might sound quite droney, it was mainly because i had the mic strapped to the exhaust. In real life theres almost no drone and i was insanely happy with how the car sounds, really deep under load, not farty at all, and the pops are magnificent, my only question is reliability considering i winter drive in canada. And that… only time will tell 🫡. I hope you enjoyed the vid!!

I didnt remove the cat so it should be legal. I dont think its loud enough to break sound laws. It probably wouldnt waive my warranty unless something exhaust related breaks but someone please feel free to correct me if im wrong

Auto is faster off the line, but manual is so much fun. You don’t get dsg farts with the manual, but I’m not a fan of em so I don’t care about that aspect.

for the downpipe to catback connection that you struggled on for my car and my friend's car I just cut them off with a grinder and bought a new one took 5mins and a new one is cheap (20cad) instead of dealing with that bs like you did for hours
