I've mastered the art of ending the microwave before it beeps, as well as the toaster. Try at home: once bread is coming up in toaster, unplug toaster... Then plug back in, it comes up with no beep. Also my toaster has a LED feature which only works if you hit it on the back left corner at an angle, also it's not supposed to beep.
