While watching the video to the end, I have a theory: Deep down, Rise is scared of losing Yu to Chie, and Yu is one-of-a-kind compared to the other guys. So, as a result, Rise rubbed all over Chie's face about how she was doing well with Yu, making Chie have more doubts about her feelings for Yu. Rise KNEW that she was hurting Chie with her words, but she felt that it was the right thing to do to not lose Yu over one of her worst fears imaginable, as a defense mechanism. But, the main problem is, has Rise even considered how Yu FEELS about her as a whole? PS: I hope my theory makes enough sense. But if it doesn't, correct me if I'm wrong. I'm always interested to hear more theories that could be relevant for the second part. 🙂

Also on a side note I wrote a fic about p4 where when the pageant stuff happens, yu chokes out yosuke and Chie says that he went too far whereas your chie went “too far” and I find it funny

I'm loving these stories. You're really good at making these stories feel like something that would come right out of the game itself. My only real complaint is that it can be a bit hard to tell which character is talking whenever there's more than one on screen, but these are still amazing regardless. Keep up the good work.

Honestly, this whole video, I was feeling kinda bad for Rise. For all this hope she's been given, it's inevitably gonna be ripped away. At least, I did feel bad until she kinda rubbed it in Chie's face, despite knowing she also likes Yu. Now I feel she does kinda deserve it at least a little. At least she seems to feel a bit bad about it. Oh well. I'm sure Rise and Chie will make up. Then they can bond over kicking Teddie's ass for whatever he ends up pulling at the festival.

Alright so... this was really good ill say that. I do have one problem tho. Rise was WAY too harsh. Like HOLY SHIT. I hated her in the game usually cause of how much she wanted Yu, but...this is just an actual evil thing. I hope the 2nd part shows her being better. The rest was amazing though. It just...left a sour taste in my mouth when i saw that. I know it SUPPOSED to, but it just made me think "Oh yeah screw you bitch!". And she EFFIN LEANS ON YU'S SHOULDER AFTER LYING MY GOD. Cant wait for the 2nd part tho! Always love these!

Assuming that the videos form a continuous story, though the phone call at the end proves to Rise that Chie at least likes Yu, does she know that they're already a couple? Chie didn't exactly make this clear during the phone call or at any point earlier in the video IIRC, and the Persona games rarely let you (the player) be open about your relationships to other characters even if you're with another party member. Honestly, Rise just struck me as someone who's just planning to confess her feelings to a guy she openly likes, completely unaware of how she's making her friend feel due to poor communication (and not even just on Chie's part). A bit on the thirsty side as usual, but nothing about it came across to me as strictly evil.

I think it's great that she's being so evil. It was very jarring to see Rise being *that* evil, but it didn't break my immersion at all. It made sense, people do that kind of shit when they're in love. I'm curious whether he'll have her arc a bit, and become a bit of a better person, but it would make sense even if she doesn't arc.
