Bluey, one of my pet birds died yesterday and it felt like the straw that broke the camel's back. I mentally and emotionally couldn't take any more. I fought all night trying to muster up the strength to move my bird from the cage (but my other bird , Bingo was cuddling the other bird after she had passed). After a lot of tears and why is this happenings? I was able to put her in a shoe box this morning and bury her in the back yard. I have been going through a lot for the last few years , but especially in the last 6 months and I read that the death of a bird symbolizes new beginnings. I wanted to cry when I saw your fostered bird baby in this video, but your timing had always been impeccable so I'm choosing to see this as a message that Bluey is OK on the other side. I'm learning to accept the unexpected, knowing that the life I want is still mine for the taking. I'm grateful for my children who are always great at grounding me, whether they know it or not. I just have to remember the only constant is change... this is all temporary
