Gonna have to say that I actually thought Little Big Planet Karting was a great game. With the spins you can do in the air it adds some extra depth to make it stand out from other karting games imo (it's more than just knowing the course and drifting constantly to win). Also the customization options were amazing, and the level creator was nice, although not *as* good as LBP1 or 2.

Playstation All-Stars had so much untapped potential. I followed the roster updates religiously as a teen. Pipe dreams of Rayman, Tomba, Spyro and Crash crashed and burned. The fact that they abandoned it entirely is a shame, because like you said, the roster and the "press final smash button to win" mechanic were truly the only things holding it back.

I actually had never heard of the bad reputation of Playstation All-stars and always been curious to try it out. The benefit for us consumers when a rivaling company like Sony try to make something to compete with Smash is that they will have to put a lot of effort into it. Also it should also be a reminder for Nintendo to not start getting too comfy in their seats if they see that there's some real competition

Definitely, but it really doesn't work imo. Johnny Lawrence from Cobra Kai is how you pull off an intentionally dated character, Stuart Zurgo just feels like a cliche stereotype that's been done a million times already. I enjoy it regardless because I like that cliche, but it's absolutely deserving of criticism imo
