I tried these yesterday in the store and they were a bit to lightweight matte for me. I prefer the intensity and pigmentation of MAC's lip pencils personally! These would be great for somebody who likes matte lips but doesn't want anything to drying IMO. They are still cute and quite a convenient size that could transition from day to night!

I loved these, especially how the lighter ones look in real life (my skin tone is more on the tanned side so I cannot really pull lighter/peachy colors off), because they don't look too light, they look... sort of like satin (they look gorgeous on you). I personally love the 2nd one (orange one), been craving for a suitable orange lipstick :D Thanks for the review :)

Love the music and sexy sultry poses, lol! I think I would like these pencils in one of the brighter shades. They kinda remind me of a drugstore lip pencil that I really like - Revlon matte balm.

+nathalia terra Hi Nathalia, To me these are slightly more thinner in terms of consistency. They glide a little bit more easily, of that makes any sense.

+nessajane021 They're very similar in terms of color, although MAC Velvet Teen is slightly darker; I'd say the MAC one also has a thinner consistency which allows it to glide more easily across my lips.

I like the brighter and darker ones. The lighter ones just don't look good to me. These remind me of the e.l.f. Matte Lip Color lipstick pencils.
