The Machine Shop Dropped My Head and Said It Was My Fault

This is not the video I wanted to make today. I by no means believe that the customer is always right but this situation should have been handled completely different by the owner of this business. Mistakes happen but if you are not willing to take accountability and handle the situation professionally then you are not someone I want to do business with.

Sorry this happened, mistakes happen and all should learn from it. You did good on keeping your head. The worker seems more sorry about what happened than the boss/owner, hopefully he has learned from this too.

Nah I would definitely blast them. That’s absolutely terrible buisness. Save every one else the hassle of dealing with this shoddy place. Mistakes happen absolutely. But if you can’t own up to it and make it right especially when you damaged someone else’s car and head. That dudes a piece of crap for trying to flip it around on you.

It's not your fault at all man. A risk you take on in a machine shop is getting cut sometimes shit happens. What you don't do is fuck up a client's part or vehicle and what you really don't do is make excuses for a mistake it's either redone or compensated ~12 years experience in a machine shop

Listen if you really want compensation then you don't talk to the owner you get the company and the properties insurance information and you file a claim. When they say they are not personally responsible that's technically true because their company is responsible slash property owner manager. It will save you a bunch of headache having to deal with some smooth-talking slimeball that blatantly tells you a lot of your face.

@@JamDrifts Thank you for the reply. And I thought that car was really unique and cool. Also if you're ever in a situation where you are terminated from your job unfairly and your former employer uses a payroll company and there is no chance of you getting your job back or maybe you don't want to go back you would file unemployment with the payroll company. Again it just falls under those same rules of that's what it's there for. It can potentially save you a lot of headache and back and forth. And sorry LOL if I seem over-enthusiastic to share this information it's just one of those things that took me a long time to put together because no employer or company is ever going to say something. Now if we could only spread this to the Karen community , we might see a drop in all those requests to speak to managers

Thats the dude that resurfaced my flywheel, when i went to pay with card he told me, "We work here for a living" then when i gave him 60 dollars, he was supposed to give me back 10 dollars but didnt have a 10, so he gave me a 20 instead. dudes a joke
