The Arkham City tapes reveal alot between Strange and Jervis! There was a cut Poison Ivy hedge maze from Arkham Asylum where Jervis would be in the middle of the maze, would have been a cool little mission and story progression for Hatter to see how he's been experimented on leading into City

Asvin Sharma That's part of it I'm sure but after he's arrested, he talks about wanting Batman to come cuddle with him in his cell
@biznubizzness47837 жыл бұрын
its hinted that he's gay for batman in arkham knight, as he starts calling batman Alice, a name usely reserved for Woman mad hatter kidnaps and heavily implied rapes. and, as pirate772009 pointed out, at some point he asks batman to cuddle up with him in his cell. he also mentions that there tea for two, and that he and batman can still be friends. I believe that over time throughout the arkham games his obsessions with batman get worse and worse till he goes from wanting batman as a bodyguard to wanting batman as a partner to wanting batman as a boyfriend. when batman defeats him and throws him into a cell, he sees it as a break up of sorts, and therefore tells batman that theres tea for two, and that they can still be friends. ... or maybe he just wanted to control batman's mind. I don't know. this is just my interpretation. if anyone has any evidence against this theory, I'd like to hear it.

The perfect Alice inhabitor shall be got Whether normal society puts it in dresses Or trousers, or batsuits, or anyone's guesses For in Jervis's Wonderland, the victim's voice null, They'll wear what he wants, and play to the role. He's done deals with supers and used them to ends But they're only side interests, none who pretend To be fixed on his acts lest their goals are aligned, Except one who now sticks to him time after time So the more that this caped crusader takes an interest, The more of a main character he posesses As why would the story be centered around he? I don't think Mad Hatter is necessarily attracted to Batman, I think it's more about the Hatter wanting control over him. I could be wrong and this is just my opinion, but the Mad Hatter, while he may have a romantic/sexual attraction for the character Alice, his obsession for Alice seems to be more focused on controlling her. In all three games (origins, city, and knight) he mentions how he likes to have complete control over people to the point where they do literally anything he wants (and this is true, not just for Alice or Batman but for the Hatter's henchmen too) he also mentions in origins and city how difficult Alice is to control even with his skills in mind control...which may be why he ultimately killed multiple women he called Alice (as stated in the patient interview in Arkham City between Hugo Strange and Hatter), because he couldn't control them. But that's just my theory.

I have to remember to come back here next time I take over your mind to get back at him for what he did to you. Why am I caring so much? What kind of strange, Hastur obsessive fantasy does Jarvis have for the idea of Alice?
@Dorkeydaze5 жыл бұрын
spacehomukemi I don’t know. For me (obsessed with Alice especially American McGees Alice.) I love the idea of wonderland. Reality in itself is cruel and unfair everything being ruled by chance (which is why I love joker is almost chance personified.) so you have a innocent girl like Alice and you put her in a cruel and depressing place like wonderland (which is an allegory for growing up/reality) and you see the contrast of civility and innocence (something that can only really exist in civilization.) and you put her in the complete just position (reality/nature.) and you have a rabbit in a fox hole. A girl not cut long for this world... but wonderland isn’t exclusive to Alice but to everyone,

spacehomukemi “A mind on its own can offer create its own world.”- a quote from new Vegas and I think it sums up the mad hatter very well. A man obsessed by an idea. Rejected by society and forced into fantasy, in which became better than his life, and because of rejection from the world created his own world,

With as much effort they put into characterizing Jervis in the Arkham games, I would have loved to see a movie with him as the focus, he's easily one of the most interesting of the tertiary villains and can give Batman a good run around when it comes to evading him and taunting.

In Arkham Knight Jervis Kidnapped and cross dressed a Young and Skinny guy as Alice but we never got to know what he did to him. Anyone knows? I have a couple of theories. But they all end up in a not family friendly scenario.
