What did you think of The Madness? I think there were some really strong elements within the show but it just ended up losing itself a little bit the longer it went on! Let me know your thoughts in the comments

The show dragged on but I think the ending was to be as realistic as possible.

Really good paranoid slow burn political thriller. References to the Move organization and use of CNN gave a sense of historical grounding. The inclusion of the menace of extremist groups and navigating black societal perception reminded me of the layered commentary in The Wire.

What a bunch of yapping, this show was garbage and completely unbelievable due to the lead actors complete lack of performative skill. If not for the actor who played his son’s immaculate performance, I would’ve cut off the show by episode 3. This was one of the worst political thrillers EVER produced. And one of the worst ever casted as well. Don’t hype up mediocrity!

I think the series was more about mental health than corruption. The point I think the series was trying to make was that corruption, immorality, unethical behavior, irrationality, and uncertainty is everywhere. However, there is also common good, rationality, justice, and truth. A consequence of focusing on the negative aforementioned experiences inevitably causes a person to go Mad. Focusing on the positive experiences in life helps a person stay sane, even after experiencing traumatic events. I think Muncie is a hyperbolic representation of the average person in modern society. His experiences show how difficult it can be staying sane and rational when experiencing the negative side of what life has to offer. It also shows the affects that trauma has on individuals and subsequent generations, as we witness the cycle of negative behaviors with Muncie's father, Muncie, and his son. Muncie is able to lean in on positive experiences in order to finally break the negative cycle.

He did not have any mental issues. It wad stress and I think anyone in his shoes will feel the same. He slow become aware about corruption, when he became part of it. He wanted to be different and in some way he lived in his own world. I don't think many people see a bigger picture than just his madness. It is world new order, that people do not believe in. And it is true. We are moving toward it.

i didn’t expect to see this many people dislike the show. i think the show was confusing and did mention many things they didn’t sometimes but besides that i think the show really picked up after the dinner scene in the 3rd. respect all the opinions tho🤝

@@drousuh6903 you just did not see whole picture. In the political war or any war, always collateral damage. You call for no reason. All people who die there were involved one way or another.

Franco been fighting for five years, another reason why his partner didn’t back him up. His partner was tired and wasn’t as motivated to solve the case like Franco.

@kindred239 yea but he could have went for another way instead of giving up suddendly
@blr1415 күн бұрын
@@thelawfamilyproduction329That was the point of the show. When people obsess over things they can't control, they tend to go MAD. Franco devoted his entire life to that case, and it seems if he had no real passions outside of his work. Life probably felt pointless to him when he realized the work he was doing ultimately didn't matter. Muncie's family kept him grounded, allowing him to avoid having a similar fate.

Lead actor had arguably the worst performance of an actor I’ve seen in over 2 decades of film and show critique. His consistency to look like an absolute buffoon despite being a critically acclaimed reporter and journalist was embarrassing. The shows plot had so many holes in it that it made Swiss look like a solid block of Gouda. Thaddeus Mixson was the only shining grace in this. I hope he gets better roles and lead positions in the future.

Maybe that's the formula for actual madness, its not supposed to make sense thats the point . The mind of a mad man or woman won't ever make sense to us regular folks but who is to say who is normal and who isn't or who is going mad or who isn't everything is not meant to be understood and maybe that's the plot of the show and or the plot of madness. Ion know just my little speculation
