The are different kinds of healers in Africa. This is igqirha (diviner) not a sangoma, sangoma is Nguni healer. This form of healing is remniscent of Xhosa divining which was carried down from Khoi ancestory. Plus there are levels to divinity. In Xhosa community isangoma and isanuse is at the top of the hierarchy, such like an Archbishop in Church. Igqirha on the other hand may have limited abilities depending on the ancestors they possess. Also, he did mention ancestors when he said "no matter the color or race, as long as the blood is red, we all have ancestors". Camagu.
