Don't be fooled. The media is COMPLETELY owned by the elites like the Ruperts and NOTHING is said or reported without a plan of what they want the public to believe. They are playing us like idiots who hang on their lips and all they do is repeat what they are given to earn a salary. Journalists and all media announcers are traitors and don't care about unbiased, fair reporting of the facts. And he wants Gayton Mckenzie to run Eskom? Halala!! He must be joking, I’ll take a drag of whatever he’s doing. Do any of us know Gayton’s cunning? Mr Hersov is an opportunist and we cannot allow Eskom to be run by them!! There are better people, we are not at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to talent yet. We must chose carefully this time having learned key lessons as a country. But Gayton and Hersov, let’s think twice!!

How would you have addressed 70 years of exclusion from participating in the economy , how would you address the fact that black owned business can't compete because of white monopoly.. the government that you failed to call out benefited from never wanted this country, they never wanted fair business. You people never saw any wrong with that , you and this loud mouth here any beneficiaries to that system . How would you have done anything better.

BEE is a required cure to over 300 years of systematic impoverishment of black people. This country was handed over in shackles of unfair 40yr evergreen agreements. Not even that 40yrs is over.

Yes I agree, the country needs technical skills. Universities should DEFUND humanitarian and political studies. They should focus their resources on science and engineering. I wouldn’t mind a government run by scientists and engineers as apposed to the clowns we have today. If you are previously disadvantaged you shouldn’t be allowed to study psychology or politics, you are signing up for unemployment. Those are fields for the privileged.

Their is a problem with that and that is the college's that continues to pump out engineers and often the person's the government gives money to go and study don't even come close to the bare minimum requirements, ex when I started at collage "late 2020" about half the class had next to no knowledge on basic mathematics or science " and yet the government keeps giving people the funds to go and study and afterwards their are next to no place to go and work, so often they instructors and pro's tell students to go work overseas or wait for a slot to open at an apprenticeship, witch already this year for my collage had open slots for 40 people and almost 200 applied.

Dont be like that. Its more him stating the obvious than a mere opinion. Because anyone with a decent education and some life experience knows that these basic fundamentals he listed, are what build nations. That is progressiveness 101. Most minorities know this from birth, hence they lead different lives because they do not sit around and complain about the past or what they think they are owed like much of the majority do, but that they know what is important to lead a fulfilling life outside suffering. Why other nation except Africa is far ahead. Merely having two eyeballs makes allot of it clear. But bias and old hang ups, cloud many peoples judgment around here. Hence you always hear em blame, whites, Apartheid, colonialism, and and and. Pioneers build nations, not victims, a reality that has yet to hit many of the majority in this country.

There are millions of South Africans, black, white, indian coloured, who are like minded people, who want the best for this country and these millions of like minded people are not racist and hating one another. We the people, have a right to live in harmony with one another, see our children, grand children and great grandchildren, and all future generations live decent lives with equality, no poverty and pain and suffering as we see daily, what a terrible mess this country is in because of the so called leaders. It's disgusting to see what is going on and the poorest of the poor are paying the ultimate price. Thankyou SABC for this report!

Busisiwe Mavuso resigned from Eskom board, not surprised at all. Forseen this coming after that heated argument at SCOPA. It was obvious that her speaking the truth at that meeting will come with consiquences. Eskom really need qualified experienced Engineers to come to it's rescue not the new board. I think it's time for politicians to stay in their lane and give Engineers chance to do their job freely without been interrupted, before we see Eskom being "PRIVATISED"
@stlouisix32 жыл бұрын
Eskom should be privatised and will have to be fully privatised and politically de-monopolised and the entire energy 🔋 industry 🏭 de-regulated, let yous will be without electricity 💡 24/7🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😄
@chronosmagasaurus28132 жыл бұрын
Agree 100%, politicians dont have the proper understanding for energy generation and should let experts do their work instead
@valentineisraelshabangu40692 жыл бұрын
@@stlouisix3 thus a huge problem for a huge public function to be privatised because it will be for profit whereas public entities are non profit or break even in nature. This will create problems for those who can't afford to pay the electrical bills. It's not like the private sector in SA is squeaky clean.
