My favourite drop. The Uprising mellowed in Rum Barrels for 30 days really adds a smoky cinnamon finish. Cali Red and Red Blend are very nice too. Going to try the Malbec next.

My money is that none of the aromas or compounds you taste or smell come from the barrels. They're dead wood by the end of the use in liquor production. Its artificially added.

I have one bottle, 2020, can't wait to try it. Russian sticker on back of bottle says, that it's include shiraz, merlo and Cabernet Sauvignon. Sorry bad English.

I am looking for an opaque wine bottle that is black, after the wine is poured out, does the bottle retain a black color. Seeking an opaque bottle that will house my own homemade wine for aging. want to know if these bottles will be fit for purpose.

Yes these ones are solid black. At least in the UK anyway. Cheers

I know tons of people here in Australia that boycott it because of the rediculous overuse of plastic around the glass bottle. I gotta agree. Makes it non recyclable. Not a trend I want to continue in the wine industry.

Boycot what you want. You can't hide the story from your country whit boycot a bottle of wine. I love this wine before i see the and understand the wonderfull pictures. And horrible stories about bad gouvernement 👍🤗😇

Stealing bacon to feed childeren. And your country punish that whit 7 years. Have to shame yourself for supporting your government instead of boycot.

Do you boycott everything of Chinese origin due to their exceptionally high damage to the environment compared to everyone else? What about other countries that top that list? Or is it just the local businesses? Are you jealous that they are more successful than you? Over a piece of plastic🤣 fairy. Put your time and energy into something that actually matters. I hope you've changed for the better in the last 2 years.

Sooo, when will Barefoot come up with a "Scratch & Sniff" label that smells like toe cheese, nail fungus and dirty sock? Might even be a better nose than their actual (plonk) "wines". I respect and trust much more an informative back label on a bottle that describes varietal character, a suggested pairing and percentages (if a blend). Other than that, its pure marketing, pompous b.s.

it’s probably because they’re not very good value for money... I’d definitely say hands down Bordeaux make THE best red wines in the world, providence probably make some of the best Rosé and I don’t really drink white so no clue on that one. It’s just, to get a wine as good as 19 crimes from Bordeaux you’ll likely have to spend approx twice as much. Also Bordeaux wines aren’t generally sold in UK supermarkets apart from the odd bottle so just aren’t as accessible. Also Shiraz tends to tastes much better than how much it costs I’ve found...

Average wine in Australia. It's blended with a few% granach which lifts the boldness. As for the app - what a gimmick. The UK would be far better off drinking french, Spanish or Portuguese reds. Not sure what all the hype is about our bottom shelf mass produced varietals

Only French wine I will tolerate is rex mundi, every other I've had just tastes like nothing but alcohol. And comparing that to 19 crimes is night and day.

funny, Yellow tail is rated as one of our lesser quality wines. Just like NO australian would NEVER drink Fosters lager. Why do we export our worst?
@jamesmcinnes434
@jamesmcinnes434 2 жыл бұрын
Stupid comment lmao. We haven’t exported fosters since the 60s. It’s brewed under licence in the UK and the US and we brew it here in aus for Australians. As someone who works in liquor retail, plenty of people still drink fosters.

@@jamesmcinnes434 From what fellow Aussies tell me. The "Fosters" sold overseas is Crown lager.
@jamesmcinnes434
@jamesmcinnes434 2 жыл бұрын
@@Helliconia54 it’s definitely not. It’s fosters but it’s brewed under licence. The reason it doesn’t taste like fosters is because the water in America and Europe is different to water here.

@@jamesmcinnes434 I also work in Liquor retail and in WA at least I have never even seen a single can of Fosters. Also most places don't export their beers and nearly all of them are produced under license, but for the average layman calling this *importing* is acceptable and gets the message across and your rude calling out of this was unnecessary and, as previously stated, quite rude. Furthermore on your ridiculous claim that *plenty* of people drink fosters, absolutely not. Fosters performs like shit in Australia, with it's presence here almost exclusively locked to tourist destinations because most of the people who drink it are yanks, because the beer is about as Australian as a yank given that it was created by yanks in the yankee way. Which is why it's got such a shit reputation. Yank beer is shit, and when you make yank beer in Australia and try and pass it off as Australian you get laughed at.
