One of the most amazing pieces of theater I have ever watched. Sometimes when we create wonder we forget the reason and the feelings behind that wonder. Watching the small boy and his expressions as the magic unfolded was priceless. Notice that the "magic trick" was not the center of attention, but the reactions and emotions of those watching the wonder unfold. That's where the real magic resides! It was a masterpiece. I have never met you, Mr. Wilson, but this was exceptional. Thank you...

This is without doubt a valuable lesson not only in magic, but in art and life as well. In this few minutes it reminds us that it really is the small things that matter. It shows that what do for others is far less important than how we make them feel.

2 years ago I retired from performing, not an illustrious career but one I have loved my whole life, I am 56 years old in a couple of days and I have to say this is the most beautiful thing I personally have ever experienced related to magic. I am a sobbing teary mess and I want to thank you ........ Sometimes we lose prospective, Sometimes you can make it happen for others, but because no one makes it happen for you we stop believing that it is real ...... Thank you for making it happen for me and reminding me that it is real ......

This short is hauntingly beautiful. It inadvertently reminded me of the great times spent with grandpa when I was a little boy. As we grow older, we tend to dismiss magic as something trivial or childish because we have developed our own beliefs on how the world works. I did, like many of us, until I rediscovered that "child's state of mind" when I was 16. I never looked back since then. Magic has always had a profound effect on me, and this short has just reinforced that, time and again.

Absolutely beautiful. The young actors expression were perfection. It took me back to when I first started as a night club musician about 50 years ago in Manchester. The boss employed a wonderful close magic magician called Mike Chardo. He would sit with me during breaks and do close up cards..... I never ever could work out how he did the tricks he was so perfect. This film is of course "pure magic"!

Its pretty simple, the love of magic is ageless imo. The grandfather loves to preform the trick almost as much as the child loves to watch. And even know the grandpa passes, the magic memory of the trick is eternal, passed on to his great grand daughter and so on. Simple. Elegant, Beautiful.

Val was a huge influence to me and many other magicians when growing up - but a really lovely guy all round. When we were casting this film, it was Paul Nardini who suggested Val and I immediately knew he would be perfect - and he was. Val will always be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

My grandfather told me once that the older you get the more you wanna be a child again. Idk why, but to me, this video explained what exactly he meant by that. We are so busy growing up that we forget to be children once in a while, simply happy. To find pleasures in the smallest thing, just like a child. My grandfather showed me that there is no greater wisdom than that of love and there is no love more pure than that of a child. Idk what the true message of this video is but to me, simply love

A nice story well told offers a deeper magic moment than any skill or technique, no matter how good the performer's misdirection is. Congratulations for this short magic film. Camera trickery always sucks. This is the proper way of using a camera to make a trick really magic. There is some René Lavand poetry in this film. Congratulations. I loved every subtle moment of it.
