Don't forget embossing powder! Because they stamp so crisply, I stamp the sentiment in the color I want and sprinkle clear embossing powder. Voila! Beautiful

I love Distress Micro Glaze. I use it on my envelopes printed on my InkJet printer so that the rain doesn't smudge the printing. I do use it for other techniques, too. One November, I misplaced my jar and, in a panic, I reordered it immediately. Still, every once in a while I forget where it is and spend loads of time trying to figure out why I didn't put it where it belongs. Silly really. Nice breakdown of all the great things you can do with oxides. I started out with the minis but soon realized there was so much more I could do with the oxides.

These are amazing! I really loved the one with the stencil and water. It was stunning and crazy fast, which is good for me because I don’t have the patience for tiny details. Also, I really appreciate when you make mistakes so we can see what happens. The red and green that turned brown might be okay for fall, but not where you want both colors to shine.

Thank you for the video🤗 I recently went on a purge and got rid of ink pads I hadn’t used in a couple of years. I hate throwing stuff out but it became a necessary evil. It’s just too much stuff in the way of creativity. I now only have the oxide inks and a couple of archival pads. I’ve been looking at the Pooler inks but haven’t invested in any of them yet. Maybe some videos I will watch to check them out. Thanks again ❤️

Laurel I use Vaseline instead of Distress Glaze. It works perfectly and exactly the same. I use it especially when posting cards to my grandchildren in Vancouver from Australia. ( It always rains there) Just a tiny bit polished on.

I love how you experiment live and not everything you create in front of the camera is perfect. Of course, many are perfect. But this shows how we can experiment and not get discouraged if everything isn't beautiful on the first try. P.S. you look great!

Hey, Laurel, should the packaging tape fail you: I work on the same principle but use velcro tape (one side velcro, one side sticky) to stick on the back of the stamp pad (obviously using the „hook“ side only). Works a treat. kind regards from Germany, Nicola
@karenkuschel174810 ай бұрын
Yes, I do that too with the loopy side of the sticker velcro. They come in a little round sticker that works perfect for the round foam top.
