I've been binging efteling vlogs for a week now during quarantine. haven't done anything fun in 4 months. nothing is more beautiful than to see a grown man connecting to his inner child. thank you for taking us with you and bringing a smile to my face.

The bird from Vogel Rok is named Rok. Vogel Rok translates to Bird Rok in english. Also, unfortunately the Efteling announced that the dragon at George and the Dragon, her name is Edna in case you were wondering, won't be repaired anymore. There's been countless of times the hydraulic systems failed/broke and the hydraulic fluid spilled in the lake the dragon sits in, which meant that it had to be drained and cleaned completely before filling it back up after the problem was fixed. So she hidden was behind construction walls a lot. But in the morning on a humid day, especially in Spring and Autumn the whole area would fill up with mist and seeing her move on and breath fire is an amazing sight to see. I really hope that they'll fix the dragon somewhere in the future.

Great video of my favorite park. Seems like you really prepared your stuff, nice! Bit crazy to try to do the whole park in one day though, but I guess it can be done if its quiet like that. Best experience however is to take at least 2 days and spend some time just wandering around and check out all the weird little things the park has to offer as you stumble across them. Been going there all my life since I was a little boy and now im taking my own son, but still, every trip I discover something new, some little detail I missed all those times before and thats what really makes this park so great. You just cant build it like that, it can only grow slowly over time to become such a magical mess of eclectic theme park fun.

I'm glad you had a good time. Always cool to see people enjoying our local park. 3:15 Yeah, Edna is supposed to be animated but he breaks down now and then. When I introduce somebody new to Fata Morgana, I try to make them sit on the left side of the boat. Just to see their reaction to the crocodiles and tiger. LOL You're well informed on Efteling and it's rides. I always wonder, how do people in The States learn about Efteling.

Omg that Fata Morgana idea is great! My boyfriend is from the other side of the country and I will take him there soon! He has NO memory of any of the rides since he went here only once so I am definitely going to do that XD

I first learned about Efteling because of some KZbin videos comparing it to Disney… and the POV of Dreamflight. It looks so magical!!

this place is a great escape from the modern world... yes...lovely place...lovely nature everywhere and the detail..as an ex militaria dealer.. i know all about detail...... i can spot polyester a mile away... its shiny even polyester mix.... Efteling used it for the knights cloaks...shame..... they should always use natural materials... i mean before the synthetic -age.....thats all they had back in the day...natural materials......Efteling should always use 100% cotton for uniforms...... fibreglass...modern... but its best for theme park buildings ..it looks good if done well... have ivy growing up the sides of the walls also lovely flowering wall climbing plants.....yes...... just stay away from boring... crap looking moulded plastic...... which is only good for making boring items with no detail like....combs...toothbrushes..........etc..... for huge plant -pots...Efteling have done well..like useing ..natural materials..... like clay-pots or stone...wich in time will age very well...lichen's and moss will grow on them.... but if they use huge moulded -plastic pots.....lichen's and moss wont grow on them.....also the moulded plastic plant-pots look boring... no detail..... synthetic -age .... boring..... so if any managers of Efteling are reading this... always use natural materials for the theme of the park...detail makes it work...also ..useing wood beer barells for plant-pots is good........ detail is everything....same goes for flags...Efteling should always use heavy cotton....... but yes... Efteling get the Gold-medal for detail over all the other theme parks i have been too....well done Efteling.

the dragon at the wooden coaster used to move but has to many problems thad the efteling no longer fixes the draggon. he used to breath fire. #FromHolland

9:39 Well, I've got some good news for you: the travel realm of the park is be expanded, with a greater emphasis on the Sinbad stories. Monsieur Cannibale is getting a Sinbad rebrand to get rid of its... somewhat problematic themes, and they're apparently going to stick some sort of smallish boat ride next to it with the same theme. It seems to be relatively minor stuff, and no concrete designs have been shown yet. Might be fun though, should you ever decide to revisit.

Hi Marshall...here I got some vids from Edna (the dragon) form George and the Dragon before it broke down. It's the attention to detail, the landscaping, the 'darkness' (I.e. staying close to the original stories of the fairytales much of the park is based on)
