The Magic of Santana are Europe's premier Santana show, regularly featuring Original Members of Carlos Santana's band upon request.
The Magic of Santana are the first Santana "tribute" band Tony Lindsay and Alex Ligertwood have ever performed with. In 2012 we hosted the first concert in over twenty years where Tony Lindsay and Alex Ligertwood shared a stage together.
Alex Ligertwood was Lead Vocalist for Santana from 1979-1994. He has also performed with The Jeff Beck Group, The Senate, Brian Auger's Oblivion Express, the Average White Band, Narada Michael Walden, David Sancious, and others.
Tony Lindsay is an 11x Grammy Winner and has been the Lead Vocalist for Santana from 1991-2015. He has worked with Aretha Franklin, Teddy Pendergrass, Lou Rawls, Steve Winwood and Curtis Mayfield, and others.

I love the original album version - the full version also includes a banging instrumental rock middle part with a huge organ solo by Chester Thompson. I always wanted to do that version when I was still MD and organist with The Magic of Santana, but the band voted against it. 🤷‍♂️😅

Wow ! Carlos should've allowed Alex and Tony to perform this beautiful extended version during his live Milagro tour and have them showcase their enormous singing talent. What a sublime gospel version of this gem. Bravo also goes to Gerd and the whole tribute band. Put this out on dvd please.
