Phillip looks a lot like Disney's Aladdin and Cindy looks a Rumiko Takahashi girl (like Kagome from "Inuyasha" ). That's a crossover pairing I didn't see coming nor become canon.

Yeah, I have to wash my brain with either Shrek (Fairy tale crossover), Page Master (Story crossover), or Who framed roger rabbit (Random, yet memorable characters with "finding the will" cliche)

Y'know, if there were lawyers in there, most fairy tales would end in, like, 15 minutes.

5:10: I'd say the former. Unless doing so would be a violation of the will, I imagine Cindy would be permitted to share her good fortune with anyone she cares about and thus the widow would have more to gain by treating her with love/respect whether honest or not. So really by treating Cindy like crap, she creates the situation she fears.

I can agree what you mean for the connection between Cindy and the Ugly Duckling, it kinda sounds a little like a toxic family relationship Sorry if I am about to mention this whole thing for those victims of the situations: I mean I got nothing against the welcoming back with open arms since that's what most families do, but with all the abuse she's been going on and on, it sounded like the only way to settle a relationship with an abusive boy/girlfriend is to stay quiet and trust them; which sounds dangerous, sad, and stupid.

I got the Trumpet of the Swan on VHS, it was a bit weird but very charming and entertaining; the moral was good too; have faith in yourself and follow your dreams; simple and effective! Geez this movie mixed many Fairy tales together so badly, it's so confusing and the plot is hard to follow. I nearly got a headache just watching reviews of this movie X) If it was done well like in Shrek and Hoodwinked 1, this film will be much better.

0:29 For me, we had this video of a Golf game. I believe it was a documentary, since I remember there being a lot of live footage with some scenes of the characters talking like they're in an interview. The most memorable scene for me would have to be at the end. I believe it involved someone chasing everyone with a weed hacker. I'm not sure about that, but I do remember it being shot in first person and hearing a loud buzzing sound while showing a frantic crowd running away from the camera.

why Is it when someone in a movie is writing a will there either needlessly cryptic or make insane decisions that won’t hold up in court in real life

I know what you mean about going to the Video store and renting movies and not knowing what you are going to rent. The is this one movie that my family rent one weekend when I was younger and it was a movie call Secret of the Seal, and the cover was like Disney type look to it. And when we watched it, it turns out to be a Japanese animated film. Years later I look it up to see if I can find it and the movie is called Tottoi. God! I feel fucking old.

What time period does this take place in? Like Cindy and the Step-Mother look contemporary and the rest look like it’s 1717. Also why is this girl not wearing shoes? Like that’s the most baffling thing in this movie and this movie is basically a train wreck.

If people want a good fairy tale crossover, chances are that Shrek is a good option If they want a classic story crossover, then Page Master is a very good example If they just want a good crossover with random silly characters along with "finding the will" cliche then here's Who framed roger rabbit

... Huh... This movie truly feels... Broken. And damn you're right, this movie goes through some really crazy logical jumps... To try (and fail) to make logics... And I think Cindy and this "Prince" Philip are some of the most useless characters I've seen... Worse than many other damsels in distress combined.

speaking of hugo, i get that the main character was kind of ugly in hindsight, but i always thought the games were classics and had some graphical appeal. and on a side note, hugo's villainess is probably responsible for a bunch of kids developping a bondage fetish

Perhaps you judged this movie way too harshly. I grew up with this film since I'm Australian, and I loved it. Sure the animation is not the most attractive, but it was not really all that bad. You have to give Yoram Gross (which you pronounced his last name wrong) credit, since Australia try their best creating animation. He even said this about his films: "If you watch my films carefully you will see the history of my life." Yoram Gross used his films to convey loyalty, peaceful resolve and good winning over evil. Also, you have to give a great amount of admiration that the characters of the film was played with only 2 actors. 2 very talented, but so underrated actors. As for the songs, there are songs that are forgettable, but there are some that are memorable, like the song, "Ordinary Miracles" by Julie Anthony, the song that plays at the end of the movie during the credits. So beautiful. Maybe Hewy Toonmore should review this movie, and I could help with the review since I know this movie so well.
@Mad-Hatter-ison6 жыл бұрын
It does make a good point, maybe it explains why most of his films ended up depressing I remember seeing the Kangaroo film as one of those films you pick up at a local library when I was a child. I dunno if it really ended when they went separate ways in the most depressing way possible (No one died, but it is depressing for my child self) since I was calling out to have dinner. If it is really the ending then his quote may explain almost a lot when looking at this ending.

For me, the mysterious VHS I always watched was a live action collection of stories and songs about animals. All I remember is a story about a hedgehog named Hortense and the song "Baby Animals Just Wanna Have Fun" (no, it was not a word swap of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun") Also, wasn't there a porn version of this?

Vincenzo Pollice Hugo was created in Denmark in 1990, but licensed in over 40 countries. A lot of places think they were the ones who came up with Hugo, but he is indeed a danish character.
@justacrittic15787 жыл бұрын
they did it with a lot of commercials, because "Norwegian sounds just like danish", nothing is worse than hearing that jumbled gibbering drunk-speech over the television! Um... no offence, it's just a tiny leftover from the old union days.
