I absolutely live these! I have been listening to the for about a month now and I can’t sleep without them. They keep me relaxed and my anxiety levels have been down.❤❤ thank you for making these.

My stress level has been so high the last month that I've broken out in plaque psoriasis. I've not been sleeping. I had a decent meal last night, took a bath, and put myself to bed with this on my tv. I was out in 10ish minutes (if not before then). Thank you so very much.

I too have plaque psoriasis and recent stressful situations made things worse. This comment was oddly comforting... like someone else does understand what it's like. I hope we both get better.

i have always enjoyed your longer videos, especially the ones with music. Your other channel was my everything (even though you moved videos to this channel as well). Favorites- Legend of book of knowledge, Library in the mountain, the cabin in the woods, and One last adventure.

Glad that it was helpful. Tuesday will be a story about discovering a lighthouse on a cliff, as a storm approaches, settling down in the lighthouse and sleeping to the distant storm outside and the rain on the window.

Hi Dan! A great sleep story! Love how clearly you pronounce the words. Also very creative background sounds. We have met briefly on your life stream a few days ago, regarding KZbin's placement of ads. I have put your channel on my "Featured Channels" list. Not that you need it, but I thought it would be helpful to the listener to give them alternative listening options. I also find that our genre is rather solitary, so I thought I'd reach out. Like 63. Have a great day! Marcus

They are the Slumberland Bedtime Stories collections, there are currently two of the collections, here is the most recent one, I don't know which of the two you are after? Both are over 8 hours and both have 40 stories: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJCqY6qVlr9nsMU

Which story do you recommend for severe depression?
@DanJonesHypnosis2 жыл бұрын
Pretty much all of them focus on anxiety, stress and worry. I can't remember which ones I've focused more specifically on depression. I don't think I have for a while. My most therapeutic story, which was designed to help with depression, anxiety, addictions and various other problems, by addressing the main causes behind all of these problems is my Adventure of a Prince story. Obviously, like with all of my stories, to get the most therapeutic benefit it is important to be listening and engaging with the full story and not falling asleep, as once you fall asleep when listening to any hypnosis or meditation etc track you disengage from the therapeutic aspects. So, if you are intentionally using it for therapeutic purposes then you want to listen at a time you are unlikely to fall asleep.

Are u a writer? Do you actually come up with these narratives or you're reading them from somewhere? They seem original. Very soothing along with the voice 🤓😌🥱😴
@DanJonesHypnosis2 жыл бұрын
This and over 300 other stories on this channel are original, created entirely by me. From 2019 to 2021 I was creating them during story creation livestreams where people would suggest words for things they would like me to incorporate into the story, then I take the list of words and create the story live during the stream. I have a couple of videos of me reading out of copyright works but these are rare on my channels, and something I just did to see if people would be interested, but no-one was really interested in me reading the works of others, so I just carry on creating my own original works. I am also a writer, having written over 30 books so far, a few storytelling books, a novel, a few books about autism, books about hypnosis, meditation, parenting, self help and therapy, as well as contributing to many other books and writing many articles for newspapers and magazines and many blog posts for different blogs.

@@DanJonesHypnosis Do you recall one of your first sleep stories where you slowly walk down a long staircase to a beach and then into the woods with a crackling fire? I know its a long shot but I use to listen to it every night and can not find it now. I love all your stories Dan, Thank you for being our sleep angel!
@DanJonesHypnosis7 ай бұрын
@@lauratuttlewilliams9357 I've done quite a few like that. Do you remember any other details about the story, including possible length, did it have sound effects/rain/voice only, any story details? I've not removed any of my stories, so all 400+ are still on my channel. Everything older than the last couple of years is also in various playlists, so if it had a beach it would be in the beach playlist, if it has woodland it would be in the woodland playlist etc, so you can check the different relevant playlists and see which stories are on the different playlists which may help you find the video, also obviously knowing roughly how old the video is would help narrow down what video it is as if it is one of my first stories then I would have had far fewer then to search through to find it...
@lauratuttlewilliams93577 ай бұрын
Hi Dan, thank you for such a quick response. It would definitely be from a long time again. Probably 2005-2010. I will definitely listen to the whole beach collection ❤ thank you for sharing your talents with the world!!

What is candy floss?
@DanJonesHypnosis2 жыл бұрын
It is a wispy spun sugar, normally served on a stick. In the US it is often called cotton candy, in the UK and other parts of the world it is called candy floss and there are some places I think call it fairy floss.
