@@rosaoddin4338 I bought quite a bit of investment grade electric utilities stocks near the low to secure some nice dividends for retirement income. I figured with a 4% dividend payout and around 5% earnings growth, they should average around a 9 to 10% return with a safe dividend.

Get choice - NEE is in my portfolio, as well as ABBV. I have JPM and support that company very much for the long term. If Trump wins, my other stocks should skyrocket- CVX, CTRA and GE

Been watching costco for a year now and have been waiting for this correction that never comes. By the time the correction comes, and all the dust settles, it might be 2x the price as when I 1st started watching this stock. Should've just bought every week. And guess what, I'm still waiting lol. I want to buy it but I just can't after this run up. Valuations make 0 sense.

A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.

I used to hold all 7, but sold NEE because it was not performing. The other six have been really, really good. I was hoping NEE would be another SO, but it just hasn't measured up. I will probably add to the other six before I would consider NEE again, since all of those six continue to perform well. I especially like AVGO, MSFT and ABBV...and their dividend income has been great.

I dont have any of these but keeping an eye on ABBV and V. Maybe I should look at BAC. Forgot to mention I have some xlu (which has nee). Avgo would probably be good but I think with vmware cost increases companies will be looking to leave them in the long run. Not interested in costco or target but costco is probably the better of those two.

Thanks, Mark, for an interesting presentation on your Magnificent 7 picks. Good dividend growth prospects but their dividend yields are too low for me (with one exception). That said, I am long ABBV with a dividend yield on cost of 7.9% so you know I invested in it some time ago. Good stuff!

what about KING dividend stocks. those are stocks that have paid a dividend for 50 years or more every quarter. along with ARISTOCRATIC those are the stocks that have paid a dividend every year for 25 years to 49 years never missing a quarter... would you not say a king stocks is 1 of the best investments someone could make as well, a 50 year dividend stock is dam close to a sure thing as anyone can come to would you not say

I would not hold a utility company or bank company due to deregulation. In Trump's cabinet, very few people are qualified, most are misfits. Trump is not a politician he is a train wreck ready to happen. I own three. MSFT is my all-time favorite. I bought MSFT ten years ago.
