The Chinese are literally killing Legacy automakers. We all laughed 5 years ago, 10 years ago at the fact that the Chinese will bring their Chinese built and designed cars to our shores. And look at them now. The BYD Seal just out sold the Toyota Camry Hybrid here in Australia for the last two months. They are just so far ahead. If you asked me a year ago if I'd buy a Chinese car, I'd say no. But I bought a BGD Seal Performance in April. Cheap as chips, quiet, huge back seat, AWD, 523hp (390kw), ~500km range, 150kw fast charging, reliable (after 18k kms), great build quality and the tech is advanced for the price. The second Generation Seal will be a world beater. They are that close with the current BYD Seal. Astonishing. The only negatives are from those who have never owned one, let alone even driven one. If EV is the future, the Chinese have it owned.

I hate to say , but the last few years , the german automotive industry was made car less and less quality . Even Mercedes , Audi , BMW , called premium , use cheper and cheaper materials , but the price of the cars is so high like was never befoure . Now cars like Neo , BYD change the game . German cars now ( premium ) start from 70-100.000€ . U can get a better interior material quality , same range ect… from a chinese brand , and cost 40-50.000€ .

Amazing car. The price is really good for what you get. The battery rent on the other hand seems weird, renault failed with that method in europe.... Seeing how many battery swaping stations are, its going to be fine i guess, the infrastructure is really good for EV's in china, imagine not beeing dependent so much for oil controlled by the saudis or america. PS i saw someone showed a chinese hypercar EV : AION HYPER SSR , could you take a look at that perhaps? That seems wicked to.
