I love hearing Martin and Jon argue because it's a natural response to stress and caring about the other, and very human. But it also hurts because we simply don't have time for something bad to happen. Which, I guess is the whole point, but doesn't mean I have to want it!

Yeah ! It was really realistic. You could hear the stress and that Martin was angry because he cares about Jon. But Jon, well, seemed to be back on the self-sacrifice bullshit while being influenced by the Eye at that moment... And then realized and wanted to apologise

Oh yeah. I know a lot of people prefer realistic fears, but those bore me. "Ooo I might get cancer! And pain! And have yucky bile and mean people!" Like, this is everyday life. I do not live so well that bad reality is some kind of interesting novelty. This completely fantastical imagery freaked me out and felt better than the drudging blah of Real Life anxieties. I've read something like it before, though! Stephen King's short story, I Am The Doorway, had the same eyeballs manifesting in your body with hostile intelligences and that was formative to my terrors.

Might as well tell personals things about me in a KZbin comment section but this episode is way to fucking weird for me. 2 years ago I was in a really bad place and working in fast food late at night, and it was not helping, so I did some fuck up things (I'm very ok now, therapy and all) but one day my left shoulder got cut really bad and the scar to this day still look like a closed eye. When it happened I just waited for the supermarket to open and went to buy bandages and stuff. I remember waiting on the line with all the old peoples who go to the store in the morning and feeling horrible because I had just put a bunch of paper beetwen my shoulder and my coat. The scar goes from the front of my shoulder all around to the back, so nobody got out of it but I can see the scene in the statement so vividly now
