I mean if he wants to talk about mechanical skill I feel like that OSU would be much harder considering that it is literally only mechanical. I have not personally played StarCraft enough to say otherwise but OSU is pretty hard and there is a huge gap currently between the number one player Mrekk and everyone else so I feel like this should be in that conversation

i think, to steel man his opinion: StarCraft is both mechanically very hard AND strategically very difficult, but it’s a good point i’ve seen some INSANE things in OSU that look immensely hard, although i’ve never played

OSU is literally a point and click game, are you sure you watched the same video as everyone else? the one where the former best player showed you needed to clock in at least 300 apm to have been able to compete while this game was still in its infancy?
