Everything about this trailer is so hot, from the ambiance to the dialogue to each of the voices and acting to the recognisable-but-different (and gorgeous!) version of the Magnus theme. I had no idea what to expect from the OIAR and this glimpse is SO tentalising, I'm SO excited for the show. Also huge props specifically to Sarah Lambie (whose performance here caused a lot of gay yelling in various discord servers I'm in) and Shahan Hamza -- I *can* recognise the voice eventually, but absolutely would not have spontaneously recognised TR's Siva, what amazing range!

@@thecozyrat35 I don’t actually know that it is. Their first promo (posted along with the “Oh… hello.” message) claims that it took place ‘In the same universe’ as TMA. But it also states that the Archives burned down in 1999. My current theory is that it’s a parallel universe to theirs, just running at a slower time, and (MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE FINAL EPISODE) when the panopticon was incinerated, it took out this universe’s Archives, too.

I'm getting pretty strong spiral vibes from the fractal in the background and the alchemical symbols, but those could just be an archaic symbol if this government paranormal institute is old enough. It probably is. The Latin translates to 'We will not falter'. Sounds like an inquisition to me, possibly medieval if so, which matches the alchemical symbols. So maybe Elizabeth the first founded this institute, she was into alchemy and the second major witchcraft act was passed in her reign. The quick end to the interview seems to imply eye or web, since the web won at the end of the magnus archives, I'm thinking the web would be more likely.

The alchemical symbols for salt and mercury on the crest, with salt commonly representing the human body and mercury frequently symbolizing fluidity between states, the ability to escape life and death.
