Yeah that's kind of a bummer that they mixed Marc down to low. The sound was all over on this mix. Besides that though I have to say that they absolutely kill it acoustic as well as plugged in this is unbelievable rendition of omission. Would love to hear them do more acoustic stuff in the future. Some other great playing can be heard on Magpie salute on The Cutting Room with Nico Marc and Rich.

You gotta just love this band. This just shows the tip of the iceberg regarding possibilities for this band. Pretty obvious between hearing this and what Chris Robinson is doing now that rich is really the foundation for the music of The Black Crowes. So not only do Rich and Marc have the advantage of being able to cover the old songs with John Hogg doing a brilliant job on vocals. They also will be able to create that magic moving forward with new material. With Chris now venturing forward on his "as the crow flies project" it'll be good to hear him sing those songs again. Having Audley freed on guitar is a major perk but without Rich it's not going to have that same spark. It will be popular and he will sell tickets because people want to hear him sing those songs. Most of us out there who are guitar players though I think 10 to fall on the team Magpie side of the fence however. I mean how can you argue! Chris's band featuring occasional former members of The Black Crowes or......RICH ROBINSON & MARC FUCKIN FORD!!!
