There is something magical about the sound that has always come out of Rich's mind when writing music. He just was the entire heart of the Black Crowes, and I didnt know it until the brothers started doing their respective solo records. I just dont like Chris's stuff...but Rich has shown there is still magic there, and the ATTITUDE is way better. No prima donnas like Chris, just a desire to be a TEAM, make great music that you believe in and FEEL and keep it real. Plus the talent in this band is amazing to boot. THIS IS THE BEST ROCK BAND EXTANT right now on the planet for me. by FAR!

Hell yeah!! can't wait for the album!!! Chris who???? So far from what I'm hearing it's all just further confirmation of what I already pretty much suspected!! Rich is pretty much the keeper of the flame for that sound. Absolutely love John Hogs vocals!! So thrilled Rich put this band together!!! You can immediately hear the cohesive sound of Rich and Marc. It's like when you hear Keith and Ronnie. It's just got....THAT MAGICAL SOUND!!! The Magpie salute live shows were the highlight of the year musically last year!! Time to get the groove on!!!! You can't replace chemistry! Magpie salute has that!! As the crow flies....DID NOT!!!!

Did you see Magpie on tour in 2017? It was simply outstanding! Their 2018 tour will be some of the best shows (yes, go to at least 2 or more shows... Trust me) of the 2018 concert season. I saw them 4 times last year. Twice in San Francisco, 1 in Santa Cruz & 1 in LA.... Planning on catching them multiple nights when they hit California in Oct. Enjoy
