An ancient shipwreck.
A pyramid half a mile below the sea.
And a puzzle that must be solved before it destroys humanity.
More than 200 years ago, the Emily Rose became shipwrecked on the southern coast of Australia. The survivors were forced to walk nearly a thousand miles through the unexplored land to reach the only established settlement, Sydney Cove.
Hundreds of miles into their journey they discovered something strange. Something that couldn’t possibly exist.
In present day, Sam Reilly and his team of ocean investigators are exploring the unknown cause of the widespread death of sea life within the Gulf of Mexico.
The two mysteries may just be entangled, and failure to solve them both will result in the greatest threat to ever face the human race.

The details of being underwater are absolutely gripping. As someone who has never had the opportunity to scuba dive, this author makes me feel like I am there with Sam underwater breathing through a scuba regulator in my mouth while all hell is breaking loose around me.😅

Enjoy. The entire series is up here. I've been writing them for a little over a decade and will hopefully get to keep writing them for another one.

I love Gilmores narration, sometimes his pronunciation does not fit my midwestern ears. But mostly I like it. Always enjoy the Storyline by Mr Cartwright. 😊

Oh my goodness… the part that really got me was where the shipmen had to try to physically push a gigantic wooden ship over rough land. It was heartbreaking. (I did wonder why they didn’t use logs to roll the ship over like the Vikings and Ottomans did. And they were already chopping trees down anyway.) it was a sad journal. But an entertaining book!

Thanks. Yeah, logs would have been a good idea! I think I just liked the idea that with enough people they thought they could just carry the boat across a narrow section of land (without realizing just how big that land was). Glad the book entertained you :)

No flat bottom for rolling over logs. Ships have a keel. It would be a constant challenge to prevent tipping sideways.

@ I am very curious about this. I just saw on Google.-While the keel provided stability at sea, its relatively thin profile on Viking ships made it manageable to drag across terrain
