The Maid And The Pocket Watch Of Blood ON PIANO!! This is the Stage 5 Theme from Touhou 6 EoSD. Not only this is one of the absolute best themes in the series (in my opinion of course), but it's also one of the most nostalgic! In fact, this was one of the first things I've ever found about Touhou. I remember being totally mesmerized by it. Several years later, I still am. I guess that's the magic of EoSD...

When I built my PC in 2013 I put a CD/DVD combo drive in it that could read and write to just about any relevant disc format that had been invented at that time. I would not have guessed in a million years that in 2023 I would be using it to burn Japanese music to CDs to play in the car. Life is strange.

Luna Dial shows Sakuya's ability of manipulating time itself and her strength, along side with the "fear of not understanding what can happen"(talking about stopping time), while this shows her elegant and perfect part One of my or maybe the most favorite stage 5 theme of touhou

What timing. I actually just finished my first ever 1cc of Touhou 6 like 8 hours ago. Feeling pretty good about myself, NGL. I gained an appreciation for this track after playing TH6 that I did not have before. I'm not too big of a fan of Sakuya's boss theme, but I really liked the slower parts of this one. Your cover did those justice as per usual. You also did a great job changing up the rhythm of the piece towards the back half, especially since I found myself losing focus on the original during its faster, more repetetive parts. As always, high quality content all around.

Ahh, sounds so awesome! Originally, first hearing this theme, I didn’t think much of it and thought it was okay. After a few more listens (and maybe because of excessive amounts of playing Luna Nights and listening to its arrangement of it), it became one my favorite stage themes. There’s something about it that gives it a calm feeling, but also makes you feel like you’re approaching something dangerous.

Yeah, I did actually want to arrange it in some way or another. However, with this particular sound font that I'm using (RockGrand) the result was...a bit too "loud' and overshadowed the iconic arpeggios. I may try that again though, probably in future medleys with a more "traditional" GrandPiano sound :)

stage 5 themes never seem to miss, huh.... gotta admit i've listened to this one the least, although that's because i never made it to stage 5 when i played eosd a year ago... i've improved a lot since then, maybe i should revisit it and see how far i can make it this time... suggestion for when you do faint dream ~ inanimate dream: include the chorus of the unused version as well, like jynx's remaster. it's been stuck inside my head for a few weeks now, and i know you're going to blow it out of the park when you finally cover it.

Thanks! Audio is recorded directly through the REC function on my digital keyboard. You guys are basically hearing the same thing I hear on my headphones. That way, I can avoid external noise since I seem to live in a pretty noisy area (lol)

Back when I started piano, I used to learn a piece and then think "can I play it faster?". It was honestly kind of a dumb thought, as music isn't just playing stuff faster or showing off However, I guess it kinda worked out in the end. It was a good exercise :)
