Abun Siur? Wasn't he proclaimed as the greatest Green Lantern before he died? I mean his name is used in the Indigo Tribe's oath. He must've been awesome if a whole nother corp acknowledges him as a great lantern.

You should have mentioned that Allan Scott was retconed out of the primary DC Universe altogether. In Current continuity Hal was the first Green Lantern of Earth. Also Simon Baz wasn't chosen by the guardians to replace Hal Jordan. He was Chosen by a ring Hal and Sinestro were sharing to fight the Guardians after they went insane and started trying to conquer the universe with "The Third Army"

Mogo will always be my favorite member of the GLC but I also have a soft spot for Kyle Rayner! I would really like to read more about Sodam Yat. I've never seen him in a comic. Anyone have reading recommendations?

Arisa- appears in animated series, lots of comics involving GL corps, quite a recurring character. Vath and isamot- veteran GLs since GL rebirth Alpha lanterns: bohodika and other badass lanterns Ch'p: squirrel lantern appears a lot too Lost lanterns: hannu, graf and so on, some of the toughest lanterns out there Salaak, the admin guy, quite important too Tons of other lanterns deserve mention

What about Salaak? During The Blackest Night, it was revealed that he was to be in charge if the Guardians where ever incapacitated. That kind of makes him THE main Green Lantern in my book (of Oa).

I would really like to know the origins of the Oans. I noticed while looking at the pictures in The End story of Green Lantern in the new 52, their blood is gold. Are their blood vessels carrying the source? Like how takion and Superman Prime 1000000 are gold, is that why the guardians may be embued with the source giving them looping lifespans (immortality unless forcebly murdered like some jellyfish)? I also want to know, if there are many, the Oans' interactions and connections with the New Gods and their all around history from their evolution to The End story. Thanks!

ok so basically the oans were originally a race called the maltusians and they were one on the oldest races in existence, but then one rouge maltusian(krona) what to disobey the rules and witness the creation of the universe but when he did that evil was released into universe, to undo kronas evil the malutians now the oans created the manhunters, but the man hunters went rogue, so they then created they created the green lantern corps

@anyone who says alan scott is not a real green lantern 1: his ring was made by the guardians... 2: it is powered by will power as seen in jsa (2001 run) 3: it does the same things as a standard ring and then some. KAPPA

It would have been good if you could mentioned Ch'p and/or his successor, B'dge,. Each is a squirrel like alien who is often added for a bit of ironic cuteness. Given the the popularity of Marvel's Rocket Raccoon, you may well see them more the future.

Chaselon? Jack T. Chance - the baddest GL ever (so he says) There was one more and forgive me for not remembering his name. He was a Daxamite and a member of the Green Lantern Corpse (yes, a separate group from the Corps) He was in a story line with Guy Garner and a Green Lantern female butterfly (I kid you not). Instead of green light, his was a black with purple high lights. Let's not forget Drxq (sp?) the undead Lantern that we did see again in Blackest Night. Katma Tui and Arista were fairly important as was Salaa and Ch'p. Then again, if you're going by the current 52 stuff, I have no clue as that is when I stopped reading GL and all other DC comics.
