So Skarner E and Elise 1E don't draw tower aggro because they do 0 damage, while every wall CC is coded to do 1 damage for balance purposes; meanwhile Ezreal w and Taliyah w draw aggro while doing 0 damage. It's so inconsistent and troll I love it

That's actually a myth. They don't do 1 dmg they do 0 on-hit true damage.

Forgot DL made this wild statement that "new champs get all their damage off instantly" and implies (althought it was cut from this edit) that older champs don't (which is why Sneaky brings up Wukong). Bro thinks Syndra Ori Annie Xerath Veigat etc. don't exist. Most mages with high burst are more likely to be legacy than new since Rito probably figured that having tons of Syndra Ori type stuff where you are slightly caught and die as a squishy isn't super fun, but I don't think the difference between AP burst before and now is very significant tbh.

You can disagree but naming old burst champs doesn't disprove his statement. Most new champs have high burst through animation cancels and combos more often than not. It's just more fun to play when they do.

Smolder, Briar, Naafiri and Nilah all have telegraphed abilities/ults that don't go off "instantly" and contribute to a large amount of their damage. Not to mention the DoTs on most of their Qs. Of course, new champs have animation cancels. That's just modern design, needing new releases to feel smooth to play. That's far different from the statement doublelift made. And how new is new? Riven was Season 3 lil bro.

Trundle's E doesn't actually do 1 true damage, that's just a myth (same for Zilean bomb). It does 0 on-hit true damage. So basically the game is being told you're hitting someone under tower, but you're not actually doing damage. I looked it up a month ago and at no point did it ever do any damage.
