@@BrianMaiden-o9c having lived in Yorkshire my whole life since the early 1970s I was terrified hearing about this evil scum and wouldn’t go anywhere because of it so this is quite a tasteless comment. The vile crimes of that sick individual is what turned the actor who was Les Battersby in Corrie into the depressed, suicidal and alcoholic person he became as he found one of the bodies, and was never the same after that. Please think before writing as what might be funny in the moment could be long term trauma for others.

"Whoever wrote these lyrics is a genius. I couldn't write a rhyme even if my heartache depended on it" Heartache Avenue The Maisonettes I've found a place to live - I got it the hard way. A permanent address to give - I got it for always. Nobody can tear me loose They tell me there's no escape On Heartache Avenue. I live alone rent free There's nothing to pay here. One thing you need to be if you want to stay here. So lonely you can't pretend that you're a true resident On Heartache Avenue. Leave me alone 'cause I'm here where I belong. I feel at home on the street where love is gone. It's a hard luck story of Heartache Avenue. There's always room to let 'cause nobody goes there. One thing you need to get a ticket to nowhere: No money No credit cards - the price is one broken heart On Heartache Avenue. Leave me alone 'cause I'm here where I belong. . .. It would be a disaster! Think about it. Good, genuine, honest-to-goodness, REAL music, like this...? In the festering horseshit pile that is todays chart...? It'd never make it! The charts? ... THAT'S no place for music any more!!!
