Twill tape is commonly found in tailoring factories state side, if you visit the workshops on Savile Row and the West End you'll see all the bespoke tailoring using warp cut lining for their bridle. Wider than twill tape, the lining is drawn off at 1/2" and then hand sewn to the canvas to lock in the fullness. There is more shaped worked into a handcrafted bespoke suits compared to MTM in America.

I’ve just discovered your channel. Do you sell an online course that someone with average sewing ability could follow along and learn how to create something, please? my tailor says he's machine sewing the canvas and there's no difference in how the coat looks, is he correct?

I too have machined canvasses. It is softer then it is done by hand but more cost effective when done by machine.
