It isn't China that I (and most I believe) have an issue with; it's the government, and the actions that it has taken over the past five years or so doesn't help that rejection. They continue to burn bridges left and right as well, from Hong Kong, to their continued intrusion into Taiwan's airspace, to their unbaised claims in the South China Sea that infringe on the legal claims of other asian countries, their fishing fleets that are illegally fishing all across the globe, their territorial spats with literally a dozen countries, I could go on and on. I hate the CCP, and I look forward to the day when the party collapses. I do wish the people of China well though.

@ElectronicDev yes I am aware of Indias fragile state, but look at it from china's side Pakistan is a broken state economy and pseudo nationalism. As for India, pessimistic approach: We lose the assumed war badly then how will the Chinese look to govern India? Or say oppression even then the world would be incredibly boring without Indians. Optimistic approach: they don't declare war on India and we are able to exploit Pakistans weak states, then we have a better position. Look at Chinese media mainly State controlled media's I heard they show India as a developing nation. West has to worry about China imo, and yes we cannot continue like this, I see opportunities in Indian market and potential corporates to which I have plans to look.

Huge part. China was trying to stir India up with their territorial disputes. Also, back then, US would strongly support India, Japan, and Australia’s moves against China under Trump. Russia even supported this move since China was also messing around with Central Asia which is clearly under Putin’s sphere of influence. But with Biden’s clear conflict of interest, the Quad might be greatly compromised.

@ODA 595 India is too big and too powerful to become an American puppet. Let me tell you something, do you know why NATO still remains "coincidentally succesful" even after almost 80 years of its creation? I'll give you a hint, you remove the US from that alliance, and all you have is a headless chicken per se. NATO in itself is a tool for America to control their sphere of influence, so in no possible scenario can India become such a state.

@ODA 595 India has always had a closer relationship with Russia than the US. For good reason. I honestly believe a country that will have a *SUPER* vital role in this region is Singapore. Singapore is basically a hotel lobby full of Chinese, Indian, Malay, and western guests all together, and it proved its geopolitical vitality when Trump and Kim had their Singapore summit a few years back. The unique demographics, colossally important geographic location and position in global economy, small but _very_ well-groomed armed forces, and reputation of basically "The capital of Southeast Asia", will in my opinion make Singapore a key player. Shortly speaking, this scramble for S.E.A is gonna give Singapore a lot to leverage, and I highly doubt they won't.

TBH that is an authentic Chinese way of thinking and they did so. The US will need to financially pay more, of course real financial concessions on assets, market opening, taxes, etc., (No, not the massively printed Dollars), to break this kind of strategy. Unfortunately Biden can't afford it in the context that even for US Navy they have to shrink scale of the fleets. So he received a bunch of empty promises without achieving any agreement of practical measures against China with the so called allies at the G7 and NATO summits.

@Treviisolion
@Treviisolion 2 жыл бұрын
@@humanbeing2730 We are not currently engaging in cultural genocide via internment camps rife with abuse and rape. The fact that the US committed similar things in the past in some of its territorial holdings and with its displaced Native American populations does not give China the moral ground to be doing it today. What the US did was wrong and most Americans recognize it and pretty much none would be ok with it happening today. China may not be Nazi Germany levels of evil, but the world was not aware of how horrible they were until the Nazis were defeated. Reports of the Holocaust were shrugged off and seen as a secondary concern to containing Germany’s territorial ambitions. Only later after soldiers saw the horrors that were caused by the Holocaust and the desire of the average person for wars to be for an implicit moral reason was the war framed as being primarily to stop Nazi Germany’s plan to take over the world and commit genocide against the “undesirable” races of the world. We have the reports today of human rights abuses in China. China is led by an authoritarian government who is even now finding ways to influence and interfere in the rights of individuals across the world. Mildly for now, but liable to increase in the future. I am not advocating for war, and if it comes to war it is far from guaranteed that the US and its allies would come out on top. Yet if we want to live in a world where we are not at the mercy of our overlords as to how much of our human rights we can enjoy, whether a change in the political situation must come at the expense of death or a peaceful election, is something that unfortunately is quite likely to lead much of the West against much of the East. The world is too big and too interconnected for two major ideologically opposed groups whose existence threatens the other, to coexist peacefully.

Hey man, Thanks for your video, it's been rly interesting and I am once again impressed by the quality and thoroughness of your analysis. Though I would like to point out that the sheer amount of advertisements makes it rly hard to enjoy it. I know that you deserve a monetary reward and may also need it, but it's rly strongly reduces people's ability to comprehend the information, to focus on your talking, and to enjoy the video. Apart from that, keep up the good work. Best regards, JK

Asean is the key to quad
@smitmahajani7663
@smitmahajani7663 3 жыл бұрын
Definitely. That's why Quad countries have already built relations with key ASEAN countries like Myanmar, Vietnam, Indonesia and Phillipines. Also, all countries in South Asia will also be important. This Quad grouping is looking to control the Indo-Pacific, so it'll extend from the coasts of USA and Canada, to the coasts of Israel. Especially since China is also looking to expand its sphere of influence in Middle East and Africa. Japan and India have already begun investing in Africa and Seychelles. France and Germany are showing more interest in this region, and I expect Canada to join later too. Middle eastern and African nations will play a key secondary role in this new "Cold War", similar to how Latin America and some countries of Asia did in the first Cold War. Right now however, the focus remains South Asia, East Asia and Southeast Asia.

Excellent, informative on a complex and critical topic and very timely. Thank you. As you correctly explain Quad is short for quadrilateral a word derived from the Latin meaning four sides. The word Quadri means four in Latin. quadri has two syllables quad-ri. Quadrilateral has four syllables quad-ri-lat-er-al. So the correct pronunciation of quad is as one syllable. “ua” is voiced as one vowel sound. Given it is the name of a very international set of participants acting together I suggest we strive for clear communication and all pronounce it the same as one syllable and not as qu-ad which is of course two. Thank you again.

South Korea does not like communist they even send almost 300,000 South Korean Soldiers in the Vietnam War to wage war against Communist North Vietnam. Vietnam Is Communist but hates China i mean China tries to subjegate Vietnam for almost 1000 years almost 20+ Wars were fought. The Philippines is still kinda tied to the West especially the U.S but many filipinos does not like China because of its Government. All these three nations mostly are Trade partners of China. But Diplomatically and Military and History? I dont think so. The Communist Scare is still kicking til this day in many parts of the world.
