It's a really straightforward choice from creative viewpoint. In the greeko-egypt era there is 3000+ years of Egyptian legacy with the buildings and culture. In addition, the footprint of Alexander the Great and the mysteries about him and the pharaohs.

The thing is it would be a lot harder to make a game too much earlier as most of the history is lost. So it’d be very difficult to make something accurate to how it would’ve been. Not much is known about early Egyptian history as most of that knowledge is lost.

man, no one should ever complain about spending 60 bucks on a game when they realize what goes into them....they dont even COVER the process of modeling and creating a world like this. They are talking about the history and the research involved. The actual creation of this game imo how it looks and how detailed it is alone is the most impressive part! It is literally a feat of engineering and the makers are extremely talented. Not taking away from the important topics covered i just know from dabbling in 3d for about 2 years how insane this stuff really is

I was just going to make this comment. Absolutely love Origins, Odyssey was okay, but it just didn't have the same atmospheric feeling. Origins gave you moments to stop and look. Odyssey was too preoccupied with keeping the action rolling at all times.

Played odyssey first. I thought Origins was lesser than Odyssey. Turns out. Well, Origins is so mysterious i was captivated by each side mission & each step into the desert. Daym ubisoft. Choosing AC as my first ps4 game is the best decision ive ever made

The 4K upscaling makes this game almost photorealistic. It is incredible the way the tones change especially when going into and coming out of a cave or house. Craziness.

I used the predator bow to assassinate a fleeing target on a chariot while I was on a roof like three blocks away. It was so epic scrambling to climb to the roof for a shot and then using the arrow to chase him down

I don't know if these are different studios but, the motion of the fighting; and general movement, on top of, the visuals. look so much better; than the newest Assassin's Creed trailers, I've seen!?" (imo) But, damn could you please remove the life bars and the kill digits it just ruins the immersiveness of the game on a massive scale. It should be more like a movie that you operate; control and become part of. (Becoming the character) in an amazing movie is what got me into this franchise, and stuff like this always seems like a no-brainer to me and everyone I've ever spoken to about what they would like to see;)

You're better off downloading a free engine like Unity and teaching yourself to use it. Make a bunch of game mods once you're comfortable with whatever engine you're using. And VERY importantly, have the discipline to not just start something, but to FINISH it. And then do that for several projects. Complete several full fledged mods using engines that you've taught yourself to use, even if that means you had to look up tips and tricks for using those engines on KZbin. Devs wanna see that you have the passion and dedication to not only learn new things, but most importantly that you have the DEDICATION to finish a project you've started. You can do it man.

Sad that this Ubisoft ( 7 years ago) no longer exist. Im seriously upset with Ubi because they have made a very unique games, they knew what gamers wanted in way of create something really fun, AND interesting full of action and drama, come on guys, AC 1, 2..FC 3, even FC4, FC Primal!
