Yeah. MNET definitely played it up. Ni-Ki and Taki were friends, but not best friends. They weren’t even on the same unit. They just trained together for a short time and MNET out here doing a good job twisting everything and accomplishing you getting heated. They did their job 🙂. Ni-Ki moved here from Japan at 13 years old to chase his dream. This show is to create a debut ready group, which he knew. There were 11 other people more ready at that time. Also, I will point out that Taki wouldn’t even have been in the place to be picked to be kicked out if Ni-Ki hadn’t raised his hand during the original vote. No one raised their hands until Ni-Ki did. And then everyone was like, well if he thinks he’s good enough… I think once Ni-Ki knew there would be opportunities to improve and come back up he allowed himself to look at the big picture which is a potential lifetime career if the right group is put together. They had to be debut ready. It’s actually very mature for a 14 year old.

I really don't see why so many people thought what Ni-ki did was wrong. Yes, when you watch it at first, you're surprised that he actually voted for Ta-ki. But I was surprised by how serious he was taking the whole survival show because let's be real: Ni-ki was there to debut and make his dreams come true, not to make sure his friend succeeds. As hard as it is to accept, it's true. That was the main purpose the voting, to test where you stand as a person and how badly do you want your dream to come true. Yes there's a LOT of evil editing, and not just for Ni-ki but if anything, I started respecting him more even though he's younger than me.

I totally understand your reaction, but keep in mind that it would’ve been totally unfair for Ni-ki to not vote for Taki just because they were friends, even though other participants were more deserving bc of their training/talent. At the end of the day he had to pick 4 people, and sadly one of the least prepared was his friend 💀

You see heeseung also said that in the term of performance taki still need more improvement. NI-KI is the first one who give Taki hands up so taki can IN to the I-LAND. He is a nice friend he not a bad kid like you guys talking abt at that time. He even try to communicated with taki and said to taki that he vote him out. That's better than vote him and acting like you not vote him. You need to watch i-land carefully and not be one sided viewer. You should watch it carefully.

Even sunoo said niki is wrong...... I'm not saying niki is wrong tho, he just analysed the performance and voted out who were not ready at that moment 🙌🏻 and but K ( it was definitely not an edit.... You can edit the scenes but cannot edit what he's saying about grounders who ranked higher than what he thought 🙄 ) you can say k developed his character after few EPs of part 2 but you can't say he's not wrong for seeing grounders lower than the ilanders

I hated the voting system in i-land so much, later on when the trainees are voting themselves its basically a matter of popularity like ni-ki was the only one who put popularity aside and focused on performances. Also there is so much gaslighting in this show its crazy

The show 'The Howling' to choose a few new members from 11 new trainees to add to the 4 Ilanders will be shown on 8 episodes an hour each every Saturday from 9th July 2022 on HYBE Labels YT channel, Hulu Japan & NTV.

Let's be real Niki doesn't deserve all this hate just because he voted for his best friend im sure niki knows better than us cz they always train together and Niki could see that his performance wasn't that perfect whice Heesung also said plus just because he's his friend doesn't mean he can't vote for him I admit that when I started the show I hated Niki for what he did, but later I realized that after a long decision, he made up his mind, and I think he was the most serious person about this program, also i really applauded Taki, who did not hate his friend niki because of that he tryed to understand him ,,despite their young age, but I am really jealous of their friendship, as they always understand each other, love each other, and also They always help each other to progress more and more this has already been achieved and the two of them debetd together in hype

i have the same reaction with you about ni-ki in iland but i didn't hate him so much, it's just that I'm disappointed with his decisions. That's why when my top 6 won i accepted ni-ki as a 7th member with all of my heart. After 2 years watching them grow.. look at me loving that kid, mnet really did our ni-ki dirty, and I finally understand that all of us can have bad decisions in life and he's just 14 years old when he joined the show, plus he's also pressured to debut.
