This place is truly awesome - have been a few times, the last being for one of the VERY special events. Christmas Dinner in the great hall. Bookings for the 2 evenings usually sell out in minutes, think there are only 200 seats available for each of the 2 evenings. But the chance to actually sit down and have a christmas meal in THE great hall - not something to be missed! The tour is something that is a MUST DO for any potterhead!

I bet it felt a little surreal to see actual movie props from the Harry Potter films! I love movie props and sets, they are beyond detailed and remarkable to look at. The amount of creativity these people have to make animatronics, backgrounds, clothing, etc is simply amazing!

Omg!! I absolutely love this! My husband and I watched your video on the tv and were living vicariously through you. We would love to go there some day. It’s so amazing to see the sets and how helpful and nice the staff was. Loved learning that they used actual lit candles at one point for the floating candle scenes. Thank you so much for showing us this! Btw, it was so cute when you “opened” and “closed” the mauruders map! Loved this! :)

That was truly Harry Potter heaven! Universal needs to bring some of the things you did there to their parks. Especially the broom flying videos. Fun fact: The cabinet of memories had over 900 vials made for it, even though it only fits 300. And all of them are labelled. You can make out Tom Riddle, McGonagall, Filch, and even Mrs Norris, Filch's cat.
