With the materials, tools and equipment they had to make this design WITHOUT the modern technologies and warehouse the so called major brands have, this group of men did a magnificent job. I can imagine what wonders could be done if they had the same accommodations as other car designers and Manufacturers.

This car is mostly for show. It's not for sale or anything. I think they do these kinds of projects as a way to train engineers and designers before they actually work on commercial products. It's also good promo for the company to get people in the country talking. It's quite genius marketing, actually.

In Ghana, There is no proper Engineering school with modern facilities to train Ghanaian students in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Environmental Engineering, and other Engineering Fields hence little to no well-trained Engineers. There are no Research facilities. There are no local Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) on even the whole continent. Kantanka is a low budget company that isn't even publically invested/traded and doesn't have a proper automotive building facility. So do you ever think that they will ever be able to produce a proper product worthy of even African recognition? 😂😂😂. This car is a knock-off version of a Lamborghini Aventador, and to be honest, they failed miserably. This car is nowhere up to a sportscar standard and performance. I hope they hide this car (Akofena) from the world as a sportscar as it will be a huge disgrace to the country. I want this company to succeed, but not in disgracing the country or the continent and portraying us as a joke to the world. It is better to shut up or to allow JHS kids to do this than a company.

That would be a disgrace... These people have been driving proper supercars made by proper engineers in a proper facility, do you think Kantanka will be able to make such performance cars in Ghana whiles our System is too broke, there isn't even a proper engineering school in Ghana to train Ghanaian students in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, etc... I tell you, if they keep on claiming that this product (Akofena) is a sportscar, I hope it doesn't get to the world as it will be a huge disgrace and Ghana will be a laughing stock to the world, you will know if you watch a lot of car reviews from foreign companies. I can see that they tried to build a car that looks like a Lamborghini aventador, but failed miserably That is why you can never compare this company's products to foreign's own, they won't even meet quarter of the world standards.

@@ameyaw1732 I respect and appreciate Kantanka even more than you, but unlike you, I am not stupid/negligent not to know where the industry and business are headed toward, I'm in the tech industry (a data scientist and a full-stack engineer) and I make more in a day than what you make in a year. I work with data from different sources of the economic sector including the automotive industry and I know companies that are not able to keep up with the competition and demand of consumers operate at a loss and die out or gets acquired by a larger corporation. Kantanka has a similar fate if it does not meet the demands of the system and consumers. We all want the company to survive but no one can escape from this truth. Do not sit/stand wherever you are and say God dey, you believe in Jesus' name they will succeed when they do not try to improve.

@@friendlyperson8338 😂 😂, you are right... Most won't buy, but that will really depend on the company about changing the people's perception about their product... Consumers like comparing products of the same category... It will be up to the company to level up with the others in the competition. Also, it's still not right to tell people to make some when they criticize a manufacturer's product, that's a typical Ghanaian mentality... And it's wrong...

Very nice car but frankly speaking it looks like a death trap. The traditional welding is too much. If this car is moving over 80Kmp/h and it crashes into anything it won't leave an ant behind. I think the company should rather invest and get more robotic assembly machines. moreover, The place you assemble the car looks like a roadside mechanic shop.
