I was in high school when this came out. Instantly become my favorite song, Cudi then became my favorite artist and still is to this day. 5 years ago when I had my daughter I would sing this to her every night for a couple months when she came home from the hospital. As a person who likes all types of music, this song is definitely one of my favorites and I think one of the greatest songs ever. I’ve listened to this song before when I was younger and liked the sound but I listened to it again when I was older in high school while high because I wanted to hear that hook again but I also listened to the lyrics this time and it made me feel a way I’ve never felt before. I connected to the song a lot more than I ever thought I did because I finally understood the lyrics and everything cudi talks about just hit the spot. As I’m high just falling in love with this song even more I start to hear the way the sounds in the song change and how they bring you into a different world almost and that is what made this song one of my favorites ever.
