How some people that play/collect cards for any TCG mine from MTG was dark ritual (had at least 1 from each set but had 100's in total) so really cool to see this put together and the effect to make this masterpiece.

I found you on tiktok. The one page I’ve seen where I went right to the KZbin channel and subscribed. I’m a musician and once I start doing shows, it would be super cool to sell holographic necklaces as merch. Love your stuff, keep up the great work.

Hello Laserboy ! Can you explain how your laser system works? I have watched a lot of videos and I have the impression that each manufacturer has its own installation. Yours is practical and compact. I really want to make holograms but I don't know what equipment to buy to start. Thank you for your answer. and good continuation. What you do is very beautiful and inspiring! Eddie from France

This is fantastic, and also surprising because believe it or not, I had the same idea as you about a month before your original post on reddit! I even took a screenshot because of how shocked I was. Sadly i don't have the equipment yet to do what you have done so far, but hopefully I will someday soon :) either way, congrats man, simply awesome!

what concentration of kodak rapid fixer should i use? i can't find an answere anywhere thanks :)
@laserboyholo5 ай бұрын
Good question. I haven't really used rapid fixer since I started shooting with 488nm a few years ago. I will look into my notes But If I remember right it was a cap full🤔. I know that is non descript but try a %10 solution and see how that works. you should visibly see the dichromate eke out of the film while in the fixer bath. it will be blue and look like an evil spirit exiting the film. hope that's helpful 😆. If you are playin with holos I would recommend joining the holography discord. There are a few in your same shoes and it seems helpful to navigate troubleshooting together.

@@laserboyholo my dichromate is orange and I can't see it as I am using a red safelight thanks for the reply I found out it is 7:1 water to fixer
@laserboyholo5 ай бұрын
@@dougsbir you should still be able to see in the fixer bath. The inactivated dichromate in the plate will be turned from orange blue by the fixer and you should be able to see it leave the plate.

Does sunlight damage the holograms if you wear a pendant outside? And does it also fade with time?
@laserboyholo3 жыл бұрын
Extended uv exposure in theory can damage it over time But I’ve had pieces for 4 years now with no issue. If anything my newer stuff is much more durable.

@h7opolo3 жыл бұрын
have you tried digital holography? maybe skip the 3d printing process.
@laserboyholo3 жыл бұрын
There are trade offs to all holography chemistry . I use Hand made DCG because is is the most cost effective and produces the brightest results at the highest resolution possible. The trade off being that it is difficult to fabricate film that is uniform and without flaws, and the medium is incredibly sensitive to outside factors like temp, humidity, and age of film.
@h7opolo3 жыл бұрын
@@laserboyholo that's all good & well. what i was asking about is whether or not you've tried your hand at computer-generated holography. have you?
@laserboyholo3 жыл бұрын
@@h7opolo No. I don’t have access to that kind of equipment and prefer the brightness and much higher resolution of the analog process
