R.I.P. William Friedkin. I don't know man. This director has one of the most epic voices. His voice sounds awesome! Miss Ya man!

Some friendly janitor uploaded the audiobook of Friedkin Connection. It’s read by Friedkin himself and it’s endlessly entertaining.

I visited LA (From Melbourne ) in November 2019 and had a select few film locations I wanted to check off. I was shattered to find out that Sixth Street Bridge/Viaduct (where they shake down the Chinaman) had been demolished in 2016. I nearly cried. The other one where I crapped out was the Cockatoo Inn in Hawthorne where Jackie (Pam Grier) meets Ordell Robbie (Sam Jackson) in Jackie Brown. I had the address but when I got there, drove around and around the block until I stopped and re-googled to find out it had long been demolished and replaced with the shitty Holiday inn I was driving around ;-( OTOH I *did* get to see two specials. First was a special screening of the original Bladerunner at the amazing Ace Theatre in Hollywood. This was because it was et in LA in November 2019. I got a selfie after the show with British actress Joanna Cassidy (The snake lady Replicant Zhora) Secondly I got to see (for the first time) Once Upon a Time In Hollywood, at Quentin Tarantino's NewBeverly Cinema .. in Hollywood ! That was special. Fun times.

Woow, nice upload. Any info on when the documentary was shot. Looks late 90s to me.

Its from the extras on a DVD released years later.

Based on everyone's appearances, I'd guess this was filmed anywhere between 2001-2003.

Did Petersen do the "driving ahead of train" stunt himself?
@jessediaz12935 ай бұрын
I think the stunt coordinator Buddy Joe said that him, the camera operator and Peterson were in the car when they passed the train. He did do the stunt!

Too bad, they didn't talk about alternate ending where they stationed in Alaska after getting Masters.

This movie was awesome to watch on 4K from KINO LORBER. I watched the Nicholas Winding Refn movies and the intervies with him and Friedkin and just to think now... William Friedkin was all along that genius. He is the one! Not Refn. Refn was heavy influenced!
