You can actually see it for about 4-5 frames as she's falling, or at least the open mouth in shock. But yes, that is indeed some serious dedication. I wonder if they were originally going to take it from another angle as well?

As a digital animator, the amount of amount of effort needed in compared to stop motion is negligible. Stop motion animators are truly built different.
At first, watching the process, I was thinking “yeah that’s pretty neat” like when you watch some How It’s Made video, and the instant you played that edit clip, I was “Yeah no I could never do this.” So much time and effort to make a smooth video, I could never have the patience for that. Great work, bro

Seeing someone tackle stop motion makes me sweat under the collar and I'm not even the one doing the work. Major props to you, this takes insane levels of patience and dedication.
I'm working in animation (as a 2D hand drawn animator), and I got to say : There is a saying among artists that animation is the S-class of all arts, because it encompasses every other arts (drawing, of course, but also writing, acting, music, photography, etc...). There is also a saying among animators that stopmotion animation is the S-class of the S-class ! These guys are just extraterrestrial beings, even among us animators, and I can't stop being admirative of their work and dedication.

I loved doing stop motion as a kid, but I don't have the patience needed nowadays, just seeing how the figure shakes when you update the pose makes me remember how hard it was with my old revoltech evangelion figures... That said, I didn't knew about all those tools you use, really interesting, I always did everything losely with my phone and nothing else lmao

you do a beautiful job on these things, i speacially love the wind fan animation on this one, and the sound effects make the whole thing 100x times better. at first i even though the liquid inside the bottle was animated only to realize it was an illusion caused by the sound effects.

Hands down my favourite stop motion video's on KZbin! You're not just showing the final product but the process on it's creation. And the animation is so smooth!
