There is a policy to re-wild nature ....no go zones
@neilmaguire1444Ай бұрын
@@markmiller5577 No go zones to allow fallow land to flourish is a law and practice around since the medieval days, there aren't any plans to develop the hills, it's just a little scaremongering here for reasons best left to the instigator. The hills themselves are protected and can't be encroached, nor built on. Zones where re wilding occurs already happen along with public access being moved around for cattle grazing and this has been done since forever. This is a total non story.

This is just the start , does anyone actually understand exactly how much land Starmers target of 1.5 million homes potentially could swallow up ? On average a developer builds housing at a density of 20 per acre , that means 1.5million homes would swallow up 75,000 acres or 117 square miles of land . The Norfolk Broads cover an area of 117 square miles , quite sobering when you sit down and think about it . This mass destruction of our countryside is instigated by the politicians that drape themselves in the flag of net zero and protecting the planet. Money is at the root of it , their will be the few in the know making an absolute killing through the destruction of our green and pleasant land 😢

Back in the late 90's I went to see a client in Putney who was a retired senior civil servant. When I told him I lived in the Brecon Beacons, he told me why National Parks were originally dreamt up because he was privy to the Whitehall process. He told me that they are there not so much for conservation but to have clearly defined vast areas of land that could be deemed out of bounds by the government. We saw this policy carried out here in the Beacons in 2020 and 2021 where there were severe restrictions on movement within the park. Basically they want us plebs herded and coralled into city centres so that they can use the countryside as their playground.
