In return I'll share how US qualified immunity works. For civil suits against officers we have to show a precendence of any officer ever being sued for the same reason or show that they knowingly breached the Constitution. I go through phases of watching American cop/public interactions and the way the police remain calm whilst getting a barrage of swearing and insults from members of the public is incredible. I suppose that's what having a 1st Amendment is for. The police are our servants and we pay their wages. It seems our coppers often forget this fact.
