I've just got my '94 Urban Tiger back out on the road after a few years languishing in the back of the garage. Like you I own bikes because I like to ride them. It's quite nice though to know it's now a classic. 😂

@@michaelmam Glad you said 'older 'rather than 'old' 😂. You're probably right but whilst one can still reach the handle bars on a sports bike there's still hope!

Loved it. I also like the 2 strokes. Currently have a 1983 Kawasaki KE 125 with 4000 miles on the clock in my garage. Have ridden Kawasaki triples and Yamaha RZ 350. All were great.

Very interesting video. I do think the market for classic bikes is likely to decline as very few youngsters over the last 20 years even rode bikes.

Another great video, thanks Michael…rather timely intro (for me), just bought a 749R at the weekend, the baby brother. Arrives next week hopefully, should look ok sitting next to the 748R! Looking forward to comparing how each rides.

That sounds like fun ! I had a yellow 748 SP when they first came out . Really liked it but haven’t ridden a 749 . Let us know how you get on 👍

Hi Michael. I had an RD250 circa 1977. I know age dulls the memory but I am sure it made about 175 bhp and good for about 190 mph? I do recall correctly don’t I? Denis
