hello all! long time no see~ this video was very rushed! completed in under one week (along side school) specifically for new moomoos joining us after kpopflex in frankfurt, germany ❤ moomoos! please add everything I missed in the comments, I'd be so grateful! Also for LGBTQ+ peeps out there, Moonbyul recently released a song named SHUTDOWN which portrays love between two women. She normally uses gender neutral pronouns but in this song, she literally use "SHE" , she said ~ is the best part of the song.

Wheein also has a song entitled GOODBYE, a break up song representing women love. It was confirmed by the actors in the MV. She also said in the MV film making that love comes with different shapes, it's all the same love.

This was a really great updated guide! I loved the Purple Hawke guide and have watched it many times but it was really time to get a more updated guide with more up-to-date content because the members have done so much since that guide came out. And because it tends to be the "go to" guide for new fans, it was always unfortunate that they don't get all the more recent info. In particular, I really appreciated what you did with Moon Byul and Wheein's part. The things you added were always the things I wished the Purple Hawke guide had. For Moon Byul, I loved that you included all her recent work that truly shows off her vocals, as well as the clips you chose for her rapping and dancing. For Wheein, I loved the clips you showed of just how playful she is. I had always felt that wasn't as well represented as it could've been but your clips really captured it. One of the things I do kind of wish the guide would include would be a section about their group bond and beagleness but then again, I think a lot of your clips already illustrates it throughout so may not as necessary to have its own callout. Thank you so much for your hard work in putting it together. I hope this is the guide everyone will push to new moos now so that they can truly come to know and appreciate just how talented and special these women are.

Excellent update to Purple Hawke's guide. Hopefully new moomoos will find it helpful. As to things you missed, leaving Twit out of Hwasa's solos in her intro was a glaring omission, tho of course it shows up later. I think new moos would have appreciated something about Wheein's unusual dual contracts and all their 7 year anniversary projects - Where Are We Now, the 2 cd career retrospective album, and the documentary.

As to the contracts and the 7 yr milestone, imo that's the most significant thing that's happened with MMM since Purple Hawke's guide so I thought it would have been good to include some info. I don't think it's necessary to say more about the contracts than the facts: Solar & Moonbyul signed extensions with RBW through mid '24, Hwasa through mid '23, and Wheein through the end of '23 for MMM and with The L1ve for her solo work. Anyway, even without that stuff you did a nice job of updating PH's guide. Thanks for doing it!

I saw this uploaded yesterday and thought to myself, "Every moo knows Purple Hawkes guide is next level crazy good so this uploader must know what the standards are" lol so saved this to watch when I had time sit down and watch properly... aaand I must say congratulations to you on this was an amazing video! Updated info, high quality clips used, smooth transitions and no robot voice!! I loooove Solars leader part here 😭😭😍😍 It actually shows more of her struggles with being a leader and we all know she has grown with it and is amazing. I actually started stanning mamamoo like 2 months ago, but i'm just re-re studying JAJA. I left kpop for years because i couldn't stand feeling guilty and old, i couldn't really adapt to new things, even tho the new gen is really good. Two months ago i decided to finally watch Hip's MV, and automatically FELL IN LOVE. Being more specifical... Fell in love with Byul 😭. But as i started to watch more and more of their music, solos and content, i just- i don't know, i just love it. They've been the reason i stay singing and smiling all day for these last months. It even motivated me to participate in a kpop related contest, after i said i wouldn't cover anything again. The same goes with stanning, i gave up on stanning groups, but since i know them, i decided to try again. I'm not as old as i sound, i started liking kpop in the rise of 3rd gen, but never really learnt how to vote or help the groups i love. That changed recently with Byul's comeback, i jUST STAYING VOTING AND STREAMING EVERY DAY, i even got up at 3am to watch it when it came out. Dang, that's a lot of text. But i wanted to tell a little bit of the story of how i ended up stanning mamamoo, because it really has been worth the time i've spent watching them and singing their songs. Please consider giving mamamoo an opportunity.

I'm sort of in the same boat. I'm a baby moo as well. I've always casually listened to kpop but never stanning any group. But there is something about Mamamoo that just attracted me, not just their great music or stage performance although that was very attractive, but it was their personalities. For the first time, I found myself interested in finding out about a group offstage, and the more I got to know them, the more I loved them. Never would I have expected to find myself waking up at 3am to watch Byul's online concert, or taking part in voting and streaming for the members' comebacks. They are just that special.

It could have used some more about the group as a whole, trainee days in a rooftop apartment, debut, early struggles, Immortal Songs, intense work schedule, slow but steady growth, breakthrough hit, scandals, concerts, live performances, ad libs, songwriter and CEO Kim Do Hoon, increasing popularity among advertisers and TV shows, increasing popularity among Korean and international fans, Wheein going to a separate company, greatest hits album. And maybe this is just me, but it seems incomplete without some mention of MoonSun. Even if it's couched in doubtful terms, it should be included.

Thank You for noting that Wheein has recently began to overcome her anxiety ❤ To me it seemed that the fandom has labeled her as the member with anxiety and has overlooked her small steps in growth to overcome it due to the great but outdated Purple Hawke Guide on Mamamoo. This is a very nice guide. Thank you! Mamamoo has done a lot of new things these past few months and an updated guide can never hurt… Ofc there are some things that I wish would have been added such as additional info on their journey as a group, their fandom etc… But a guide is a guide, it needs to be concise. New moomoos will eventually learn this stuff as they dig more into them. I like that it gives a good insight of the dynamics in the groups and the relation between the members (generally guides tends to focus only on Wheesa and Moonsun).

If I could suggest more to add for their uniqueness as a group: their huge discography which includes many genres (jazz, ballad, bossanova, etc), their genuineness and sometimes unfiltered comments and unbothered attitude, their crackhead song (taller than you, sleep in the car, waggy, pink panty, pikachu), their special love and relationship to fans, snaps of their iconic vocal performances (immortal song, medley, 4 hour concerts, award show, school festivals), More of their funny sides (concert VCR, games, variety show).

Yep you've done justice to Hwasa and Im quite satisfied with it💜 even though u say u made it in a rush I love how u focused the intro more on Hwasa's maknae behaviour and her soft side rather than her fierce side & all the bodyshaming part.Tbh it's been 2 years since I started watching Kpop and liked it and Hwasa is literally still the only woman or rather even the person I follow and watch the most in the whole industry(Jessi is my 2nd fav), it's as if, once u fall in love with Hwasa u just find other people boring or something 😂 it's some kindof Hwasa effect idk ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯ So, I loved how u showed some of my fav clips of her like her singing Into the fall(such an underrated artistic masterpiece from Woogie & Hwasa), her iconic speech concert, the video where her hair extension falls down lol so cute, i just want people to see that Hwasa is NOT someone who u can just call rough or older looking just bcoz you've seen only her stage personality,she has an alter ego, but her real nature is as cute as cute can get.She literally is the maknae everywhere she goes and I hope people can see that through this video. P.S. It's been like 7-8 months since I started stanning them Loving everything I just want to experience more OT4 activities because I only experienced "MUMUMUMUCH" as an OT4 comeback but it had 0 promotions because of RBW 😐

Well...tbf, WAW and mumumumuch were both created for the fans, and RBW forced them to promote WAW when they didn't want to. Mumumumuch was also never planned by MMM to be promoted so it wasn't. But damn this is so relatable, getting into them right after WAW era, having so much fun looking through their content, until you realize what RBW has done with them for the entire year of 2021. (I'm keeping my hopes up high for more OT4 content this year, it's started off with quite an improvement!)
