Those snow scenes remind me of the snow storm in Chicago in '67. We had so much fun digging tunnels in the snow in the yard and jumping off of the garage roof, making angels in the streets because there was no traffic and no school. I definitely wasn't dreaming of CA back then. Snow was too much fun.

Ahah, I was born in 1967, Moscow, USSR. We had a lot of snow as well)) I've heard this song for the1st time only in 90s, since then it is in my gold collection and in my heart.

@GetYour_Jollies You never know. It was definitely unforgettable for kids. Not sure the adults enjoyed it so much. There is a picture buried somewhere in my collection of my dad out there shoveling snow. The path he made on the sidewalk was surrounded by piles of snow higher than his head and he was 5'11". It must have been exhausting. No snowblowers back then, at least I didn't know anyone who had one.

I am 23 and so tired of what these people call “music” it’s just repeated songs from way before their time. I was always into the music my grandma played in her van when we went on road trips with her. It was all stuff from late 50s-60s. Recently I remembered some of the songs she played and now I’m deep diving into this era of music and falling in love with music all over again. It’s all new to me and I can only visualize the bliss you guys must’ve felt hearing this for the first time ever. I’m happy to at least be around to hear this kind of music in high quality and through headphones on my bedroom floor with my dog. Blessed to still have my grandma around to tell her that her music has done something for me!

It is not necessarily better. It is more basic because of the time it was recorded in. No need to glorify anything. BTW. what is a dishonest voice? 😂 You reached IMHO peak performance if autotune doesn't really matter. That is why Indila is worth listening to.

My mom was a backup singer with them in this song! She used to point out the part where you could hear her more clearly all the time. I adore this song, and the stories my mom gave me about being around these people. EDIT: I just wanted to come back and thank you all for the love. Unfortunately, my mother passed away this past month. However, I was able to let her know how much love you guys were sending her way before she passed.
